The Penrose Gastropub-East 83rd Street Went last night. Great addition to the neighborhood. Lots of good beer on tap. Very nice space and friendly staff. Typical fried gastropub menu; Deep fried sausage, fried chicken, fried pickles, etc. Good amount of bar space too. Will definitely be back! Tipsy |

Places to eat in Dubai: My Recommended Restaurants I stay at the Fairmont when I'm in town and often walk to Ravi, Al Mallah and Noodle Bowl in Satwa. There are many other restaurants in Satwa that are an equally easy walk. Any recommendations? Thanks. Tipsy |

Just wanted to give this a bump; Finally got around to trying Seahorse Tavern. Sorry I waited so long! The oysters were great as well as the grilled shrimp salad and mussels. Nice beer selection too. Will definitely be back! Tipsy |

cheese at Fairway - too many strikes to count Has anyone had success in finding Halloumi at the UES Fairway? The guy behind the cheese counter looked at me like I had seven heads. The deli guy said it was in the Kosher section, but I didn't see it there. Tipsy |

Best Burger in New Port Richey Area? I finally tried the burger at Alex Place. Not bad! Not my favorite bun but definitely a good, flavorful, inexpensive restaurant burger. I think it was $8 for a 3/4 lb burger with fries. Wings were good too. Worth a try! Tipsy ----- |

I read July 20th, somewhere on the internet recently. Can't recall where. Tipsy |

Best Burger in New Port Richey Area? Thanks for this. Will definitely give it a try! Tipsy PS - There's a little Punjabi place called Taj Mahal Curry on 19 across from Publix (a few doors down from Goodyear). I got some takeaway two weeks ago and it was very good! The place needs business so please, give it a try! |

Has anyone tried Pan Asian on E86 yet? After reading the "Saigon chef" comment on the menu, I decided to order the seafood Canh Chua...something I've been sorely missing since Saigon Grill on 88th closed. I can only comment on this one bowl of soup but it was exactly as I'd remembered! I'm very happy to have a place close-by for my Canh Chua fix. Tasty and healthy! Tipsy ----- |

Funny to get recommendations from you for Waikiki, UES Mayor. I think we live just a few blocks apart on the UES :) Tipsy |

I'm looking for some (non chain) cheap eats in Waikiki. We stay at the Outrigger Reef and the guys I'm usually with are (1) cheap (2) lazy and (3) not adventurous. We're talking about guys in "Members Only" jackets with white socks pulled up to their knees. They're content to eat at the Shorebird every time they're there. I usually hit Eggs 'n Things for breakfast and frequently hit a number of different ramen places for lunch or dinner. I've been to Mac 24/7, which I liked, Fatty's and also the food court at the International Market Place. And walking distance only, please. I'll never be able to talk these guys into renting a car or taking a cab (sad, I know). Thanks! Tipsy ----- |
