the beauty of grass fed beef (well i should say ONE OF the ) is that you dont have to slather it in sauces and spices. it is so good and flavorful just the way it is. cows were meant to eat grass, not corn. With grain fed beef - you're getting antibiotics along with that taste. Really - it's just b/c you are used to it ... someone from argentina, just like the person who posted to this reply from colombia - they eat beef fed on grass - always - and when they eat grain fed beef here - it tastes bad. This is one of the couple of reasons Americans are SO FAT, and other countries - dont suffer from the obesity we see here. EVERYTHING is processed here! corn is genetically modified then given to cows. YOU SHOULD read OMNIVOURS DILEMA - very good book - easy read too...

Puebla Mexico Suggestions

Hello,

I am getting married in Puebla Mexico In April of this year - and was wondering if anyone had suggestions on things to do, places to eat etc. I have been there once for a four day weekend - but we went to a concert one night and went to cholula and other surrounding areas. We didnt spend a lot of time in the city of Puebla.

Any suggestions would be so much appreciated. Thank you.

Questions on Mexico City & Puebla

Hi -
I have been to la purificadora - im actually getting married there in april so I went to set that all up. The hotel is amazing. Ive stayed at habita and condesa DF en D.F -
The hotel is great, the food is great - i cant say one bad thing about it. I dont have high expectations for them planning my wedding - and so far, they have been nothing but perfect. I dont have a negative thing to say about the hotel. They gave us a tasting for the wedding - on the house they fed 4 of us - 6 entres each === appetizers, desserts - all on the house - and literally, not ONE option was bad. not one. so i would highly recommend it.
If anyone has spent time in Puebla, Id love to hear about things you like to do there - b/c i would like to help our guests plan things to do while there..
