Good Spots in Armitage Neighborhood (MPLS)?

In search of a good neighborhood hangout in the Armitage neighborhood of Minneapolis. I believe the area is bordered by 56th St and HWY 62 (north/south) and Xerxes and Logan (east/west). Spots a little outside this area are fine, but not too far - I drink a lot of beer and will need to walk home. Thanks!!

Is Fondue back? - The Melting Pot opinions.

I'm originally from the Chicagoland area, and Geja's is one of my all time favs. I was taken there a few times as a child, and I was hooked. I've had a love affair with fondue ever since.

Reviews for Fogo de Chao?

The salad bar is great. The service is excellent. And I'd stab my own mother with a dinner fork for one of those lamb chops. In fact, I've entertained the idea of slipping the lamb chop guy a $20 at the start of my meal to keep me on his radar.
All of the "complimentary" sides are tasy, also, but they're just filler. eat the meat, that's why you came.

McDonald's Confession

It's hard to think of anything I DON'T like from McD, but I get VERY excited when the McRib comes around. I'm not kidding. I love the McRib. The flavor is unique to say the least, but it's the texture that I love. processed rib meat, soft corn dusted sub roll, crunchy onions and pickles. it's awesome, and i wish it was available all the time.

My favorite fast food breakfast is at

If you are fortunate enough to live near a White Castle, their breakfast sandwiches are excellent. Sausage, egg and cheese on a bun (usually about 4 of them) does the trick. The hash browns are way to greasy, but do have a fun school cafeteria flavor to them. They offer breakfast sandwiches on toast, also, but stick with the bun. Next time, I think I'm going to ask if I can get the burger onions on my breakfast sandwich. Crazy, I know.

MSP Best Gyros?

Deli Supreme, located in the Cloverleaf Center (35W and 98th St., Bloomington) makes a great Gyro. My favorite variation is the Spicy Gyro with Feta. The "spicy" is nothing more than a generous helping of Frank's Red Hot Sauce, but it works SO well. Also in Bloomington is Gyropolis (Penn and ???, next to a Burger King). I think the same family who owns Deli Supreme owns Gyropolis. Gyropolis gives you a lot of unique options for dressing your gyro. I may recommend "The Athenian", which comes with mustard (what?) and fries IN the gyro. Yum.

MSP Best Gyros?

I've never had a gyro from Spiro's, but their Italian Beef may be the best in the city. It was in my regular lunch rotation when I worked in that area.
