Hi, I did speak with them yesterday, it arrives around mid morning on Thursday, on sale after mid day, if you or I call they will reserve, there now on speed dial for this week,LOL
Then it's off to Russos to buy some beets to roast over bed of rosemary , baby tomatoes, and will be all set

you can't forget Robbie's in Bow, great Bfast, maybe best pancakes , i think they were voted best in USA by NY Times a while back, and there big Bfast is huge and great value

Yes , I love the scotch eggs, make my own but when they come out warm there great, I live up in NH and when my friends know I'm going I normaly have to get a dozen , lol
I also like the lamb pie, And being from Wales can't resist the [duck]aka Faggots, every butcher shop in Wales made there own, real tasty old time fast food

Update on Blackstrap, went there Friday to get some take out for Pats game on Sat night, Ill give you a run down of what I had and score out of a scale of 1 to 10 , 10 being the best
when I was waiting for order I had
BBC wings , great say a score 8
Bowl of Chili good score 7
had to go
Full Rack of Ribs mummm score 9.5
Baked Beans , disappointing, needed way more cooking in my opinion,score 3
Mac and Cheese not bad score 7
Corn bread, I must point out I cut in 1/2 buttered and grilled in cast iron, yep good score 8
Sweet potato mash, real good , and I don't like sweet potato score 8
Coleslaw, V Good score 7
Burnt Ends, just OK, score 5.5
Pulled pork, of the charts maybe one of the best I have had 9.5
Service and help , was wonderful, they packed everything to go and went the extra yard to help score 9
Overall was a great , only thing that needs attention is the beans!!

hi guys I'm doing some on the grill apps next weekend for a charity event for about 100 ,I'm looking to find corn tortillas say about 4 to 5 inch , that will be warmed on grill and served with scalop and shrimp cerviche with mango.traveling down from NH to get some ingredients from Russos so don't mind where there located

Not sure about that! Back room is down the road and Sunday night is one of there busiest nights and that road has one of the largest flows of traffic 24/7 in Manchester
Looking for Assorted 'British' foods and a Rant :)
Being a lover of Pork pies and Melton Mowbray pies , coming from Wales and have now lived in NH for the last 12 years, I have to say that I have tried all that are mentioned in this thread, Ill try and give you my honest update
Hartley’s Fall River and Somerset, are very much the same , but real good, have to go early as they sell out great folks to deal with I would give them 7.5 out of 10
Hartley’s in Lincoln RI, I would say are better, they also sell a Meat and Potato and a Meat Pie, I have to say that I give them a 8.5 out of 10, there pastry is better I think
Thwaites Market in Methuen, MA is closer for me and are Ok, I think they lack something, but they do a killer Scotch Egg, also something that they call a Duck Egg,
(from the UK we would call it a Faggott) its not bad, overall a 7 out of 10
Lastly and I do have to order these from the web is The English Pork Pie Company from Upstate NY, they have a great assortment of pies and the only one to offer a Melton Mowbray pie and also a Gala Pie, one with a hard boiled egg set in the middle of the pork, plus a array of pasties, and other goodies, there shipping is also good, I have to give them a 9 out of 10

Went there on Friday, lunch time, to get Pie to go for dinner that night, it was packed, great menu, nice staff, looks like a lot from 900 degrees working there , pie was real good we had the garlic crust, had a beer at bar when waiting, that was a little pricy for Bud, but overall a great pie and crust will most certainly be going back, as my go to place Ally cat has gone down hill
