Reviews of Passover Hotel Programs? Clarion |

Reviews of Passover Hotel Programs? Horrible, Horrible, Horrible. Nothing as advertised. No kiddushim, tea room had only tea and coffee mostly, except for some left over cold cuts. Mostly chicken dishes. Absolutely no activities. Had to pay for a bottle of wine. Tracci really cheaped out here. Hotel was also pretty disgusting. Hopefully they won't have this program again! |

Had both the ribs and brisket. Ribs were fine, tasty, fatty and succulent. Brisket was pretty bad. |

Reviews of Passover Hotel Programs? Anyone know anything about the Clarion Hotel program near AC? Thanks..... |

I agree, was there last night too. Got a tuna sandwich and wife a salad. The tuna, first of all was dark tuna, the cheapest variety, and was horrible. Wife's salad had ice in it, maybe to keep it cold, I don't know. $27 for a bad sandwich, old salad, but the mango drinks were pretty good. I don't think this place will last too long, at least in CA everything is fresh. |

Claire's is truly amazing, only issue is that it would never take off in NYC as it is open on Shabbos, albeit owned by non-Jews. |

Anyone have any reviews of programs they've been on this year? |

Best kosher places to eat in London I had a great expereince at Bevis Mark, bit pricey, but the food was fantastic. The steak was like butter and the non-Jewish colleagues, I brought there, said it was the best steaks they ever had. What I've found regarding food from Selfridge's and DD sandwiches is that they're not always fresh, and also they have strange fillings to my liking, e.g. Avacado and egg? Cheers! |

Please let me clarify. I've been to London numerous times, so the touring bit is old hat to me. Unfortunately, I'll need to be in my London office on Friday, so no chance to get home to NY before shabbos. Therefore, I just need the most convenient place to stay and eat as I'm really not up to getting takeout or having food delivered. Thanks! |

Anyone aware of a restaurant available for Shabbos meals, or a hotel where I can stay that serves Shabbos meals in London or the environs? Thanks! |

Kosher Food at Newark Liberty Airport (EWR) I do it all the time in Ft. Lauderdale from Sara's. Never a question. Also, definitely Kosher sandwiches are at terminal B. |

Traveling to Vancouver next week. Any ideas on kosher food there? thanks... |

Reviews of Passover Hotel Programs? We went to HLF Chesapeake Bay Maryland. The hotel, grounds, food, service were all amazing. The speakers were great (Rabbi Lamm spoke once), the Tea room was great, Baalei Tefillah wonderful, heard the kids loved the day camp. Weather was beautiful most of the time, so pools were always open. Not a word to complain, as we've been to a few programs, in the past, and none compared to this luxorious program. We'll be there as long as they keep coming back. |

Hey Guys - Any reviews since it's just opened? |

Paradise Kosher In Scottsdale - A Review What did you end up paying in the end? I know they were advertising 5500 per room, but were making deals. |

It's only a grocery store with minimal food. I'm looking for either a restaurant or meal delivery. Is Coffee Bean still kosher? |
|

Any update to Singapore? I'mmbe going there in a few weeks on business. Thanks |

Anyone have any ideas regarding kosher food availability in Manila? Can I have food shipped to me there? Thanks............ |

House of Pita on 46th St closed? Pretty poor hechsher too it seems, same one as Fine and Shapiro and 2nd avenue deli. Passed by their new place, real dirty and scummy looking... |
|
|
Anyone have any experince with this program? It's run by the Katz family http://www.katzpesach.com. Thanks... |

Kosher Deli Lower Delancy Street Sam's.... |

The Kosher Delight website is pretty poor. It's tough to navigate and has little information. Shamash.org is probably the best resource for kosher travel. |
|
|
I'm going to answer my own question. It's under the supervision of Rabbi Gornish who is known to be very reliable. Shari's happens to be one of the best restaurants/steak houses I've ever been to. |
|
|
Anyone aware whether they still have a good hashgacha since they're no longer under the OK? |
|
|
House of Pita on 46th St closed? Yes, they are closed, in fact just passed by there and they were hauling away the oven! |

Kosher Subway in Livingston, NJ I believe you're being too critical. I've gone there a number of times, sure they have some kinks to work out, but the food is great for fast-food. Give them some time as they just opened 2 weeks ago. This place will survive, it has to, as there's really no other fast food place in the area. |
|
|
Yeah! It's now open, on Livingston Avenue next to Shoprite. |

Just came back from Jerusalem. Luigi's was GREAT, in town and business lunch special was fantastic. Buffalo Steak House on Emek was also fantastic and well priced. Shabbat at Sheraton is always great food. KFC in Kinyon Malchah was much to be desired, left an aftertaste. Wafel Bar near Citadel David was unbelieveable! B'Tayavon |
