Saturday Night in Portland for PHX Chowhound
The wine bars and brew pubs are obviously great (unless you're talking about Portland, Me., in which case just the brew pubs are great). Bridgeport's cask-conditioned IPA is about the best beer I've ever had. And the Kobe burger at Rogue is (like the beer) not to be missed. Jake's Grill (an M&S restaurant) in the Governor Hotel serves excellent married-thirtysomething fare.
Food Related Legal Internships
sir cooksalot: I'm a 2L and was in touch with one of the restaurant associations in DC about an internship last year. They were willing, but it didn't work out because my school required a certain amount of supervision. I'd be happy to put you in touch with them if you want.
But otherwise, yeah, I'm in the same boat as sir cooksalot.
