3 days in Tokyo - where to eat?
Hi - i will be visiting Tokyo for 3 days next month. It will be my first time to Japan. There seems to be so many places one could eat and I am lost with trying to figure it all out. Where would you suggest are the must eat places and things to try? Completely open to all foods, types of restaurants etc.
We are staying at the Grand Hyatt Tokyo - is there anything decent in the hotel to eat as well?
Thank you for your help!
Kobe (1 day), Kyoto (1 day) - where to eat?
Hi - will be my first trip to Kobe and Kyoto and we are doing day trips to each. Where are the must places to eat? Either lunch or dinner, and can we combine them with seeing the sites?
Major foodie, but completely new to dining in Japan and baffled by all the kinds of food out there. We will eat anywhere, open to all kinds of places, just want to the full Kobe/ Kyoto experience and would hate to waste a meal while visiting!
Thank you for your help.
Osaka - 1 dinner. Where to go?
Hi - it will be my first trip to Japan/Osaka and we have time for 1 dinner there. Where would you suggest? We are staying at the Ritz Carlton, is there anything good to eat in the hotel even?
Somewhere with a lively ambience is always nice and that would be a good introduction to dining out in Japan. Thank you!
2 dinners in Sydney - first visit...where to go?
Hi - it will be my first time in Sydney and I have two dinners there. Where should I go? We are looking for a true Sydney dining experience - we like all food (not Japanese though as we will be coming to Australia from Japan), price is not a problem, somewhere outdoors would be nice if the weather will be warm enough then, a lively ambience is always appreciated! Will be arriving next month.
Thank you for your help!

Where to buy seeds? What to grow?
Hi. Does anyone have any suggestions on where I could buy veggie and herb seeds?
Also, does anyone know good websites with tips for urban/balcony gardening? My balcony is south facing and I want to grow things that are suitable for it - but also that don't require to much expertise as I am not particularly green fingered!

Liverpool - girl's night out. Where to eat?
Hi - we are a small group of Londoners who are going to Liverpool for a girl's night out. I want to find somewhere fun and lively for our dinner on Saturday night (not ridiculously expensive though). It will be our first time in the city too.
Also, if you could reccomend a nice relaxed lunch & brunch place that would be great.
Are there any Liverpool food specialities we should try too?
Thank you.
Seeking cooking class in London
Hi Hopdegoode,
Not sure if you are still looking for cooking classes but I recently had a Thai chef come to my home to teach a class to us there. He was fantastic - we got to learn 4 or so Thai dishes (which you can choose), he brings the ingredients and you get to take things at a good pace while getting to learn all the dishes hands on. The classes are peppered with his own anecdotes from learning with his grandmother and with stories about Thailand. Also his price was very reasonable. This could definitely solve your query about wheelchair access if he came to your home.
His name is Brett and the website is http://yourthaichef.co.uk/,

Two Thai places, London
Hi - I just tried Number One Cafe in W10 recently on a friend's recommendation . It was pretty good - I am not too familiar with thai restaurants in London but would really recommend it, also the prices were great.
Would be interested to know if others have tried it.
Seeking cooking class in London
Also, if I recall Divertimenti's cookery class area is down a flight of stairs.
Seeking cooking class in London
Caldesi cookery courses in Marylebone are on the ground floor so should be easily accesable. I think we sat to prepare everything too (might want to double check though).
Eat Drink Talk is up a flight of stairs - check with them to see if they have a lift - you sit on bar stool type things - the girl who runs the school is really nice and helpfull, so just give her a call/email if you can too.
Near covent garden: fabulous restaurant for a group
Belgo should fit all your requirments (its Belgian though, not French). There is a big on in Covent Garden.
Afghan Food
There is a Persian/Afghan restaurant in Westbourne Park/Paddington on the Harrow Road. Have never tried it though.
No good bagels??? [London]
Hi. I constantly crave good, light, yummy bagels in London but cant seem to find them anywhere. I've tried the place in Brick Lane, but it just isn't the same as the ones we used to find in the States. Also those bagel stands (Ixxy's etc) seem to have no flavour...
any ideas where I can get my hit? Thank you.
