Best meal I ever ate:

Hmmm. 1) Gigot d'agneau and gratin dauphinois in the garden of La Bicheronne (Fareins). 2) Boudin blanc and pumpkin puree, followed by venison with foie gras, at Chez L'Ami Jean (Paris). 3) Carnitas tacos at the La Fondita taco truck (Tacoma). 4) A wedding dinner catered by heaven only knows who (Brindisi)

Stumble upon the perfect meal in the perfect restaurant, completely serendipitously.

Braised chicken with preserved lemon, ras el hanout and quince
