I Think they are closed for lunch. Thanks for your feedback. I will probably check it out next weekend
Geronimo, New Haven. A Little taste of Santa Fe?
Has anyone been to the new Southwestern style place "Geronimo" located on Crown Street in New Haven? I heard good and "semi" bad reviews. Any feedback will help.... Service, food, atmosphere. Thinking about going there and heard it can be a bit pricey.
New Haven, CT restaurant
Has anyone ever been to that new Santa Fe style restaurant "Geronimo" on crown street?
Resurrection of Leon's, New Haven
I've dined at Leon's twice, both times were exceptional. Most of the former Rusty Scupper staff are there, so there must be some kind of quality, professional and friendly service floating around Leon's. Calamari is to die for. Unfortunately, rumor has it that they only have a 2 year lease, which means they can either be kicked out or rebuilt when the high rise is set fourth. For now, I will dine there as much as my budget allows. Good job!!
Red Fin Restaurant in Stratford CT
What a mess this place was. Apparently, they are reopening in February or March. They did not shut down because of the construction, they shut down because the owners have no clue how to run a restaurant and pocketing their own money!
Irrational decision making on their part. I've heard they still have not paid their staff, bounced checks every week and have not paid their vendors (you know, the food vendors where they received all their FROZEN food, source: an ex- waitress). I've went 3 times in hoping the impression it left on me the first time I went, would change, and it did not. I like to support new local businesses, this one was already too far into the ground.
Supposedly it will be the same owners, I think they should probably bury the hatchett on the restaurant business and get out before they are bankrupt.
