Good Italian near Miami Airport - Basilico Ristorante
Down hear in Florida from the cold Midwest with the family. Staying near the Miami airport to catch an early flight. Suggested by another Chowhound - Basilico Ristorante on Doral Blvd.
Good Italian food. Not exactly what you expect in a mall, but the service and food was good.
Had the carpaccio and calamari. Veal, seafood, and bolognese. All good. Price was very reasonable. The worst part was waiting for a cab to get back to the hotel. Thumbs up.

I am going to LA for a conference this week. I will cab it to the Wilshire Grand Hotel. Never stayed here before. Areas within walking or cab ride. Sushi or authentic Mexican. But I will take any suggestions. Thanx
