West side Restaurant Recommendation BYOB

It does not necessarily need to be tapas. Please provide some sincere recommendations.

Wako Asian Slaw Shreder [moved from L.A. board]

I enjoy eating at Wako (Korean style cutlet) and I love their asian slaw. What equipment/gadget is needed to shred the cabbage in this manner? Thx

West side Restaurant Recommendation BYOB

Hello
I have friends who in their 30's whom still live like they are on high school budgets. I am looking for a restaurant on the west side (I say west side loosely) which has tapas style food service and has BYOB with non or minimal corkage fee.

I got tired of attending gatherings where these group of people order 1 drink per person and order a few appetizers for the entire table. I was hoping that reasonable tapas style food and having them bring their own alcoholic beverage get together would be more "suitable" for their lifestyle and less "looks" from the wait staff at the restaurants.

Any suggestions?

Best Aged Cowboy Ribeye in Los Angeles.

So far the best aged cowboy ribeye I have found is Ruth's Chris. I am not a filet mignon or Waygu/Kobe person as this meat is too lean. I am looking for the fat that is marbled and that is why ribeye is the only cut that works for me.
I have been disappointed at:
Mastro's, Madeo, Craft Steakhouse, Lawry's, Katana, Campanile and even Peter Luger's (Brooklyn).
Is there any other place that I will not be disappointed? BTW, it doesn't need to be bone-in/cowboy ribeye, as long as it is ribeye it would work. Thanks.

MOZZA - Top Restaurant in LA??

I am addicted to the pizza here. No other pizza will do anymore. Fennel sausage and the mushroom pizza is the most popular. I must eat here at least once every 3 weeks.
I have eaten pizza in Europe, NY, SF and Japan but this is THE BEST!

Saudi Arabia cuisine

I actually lived in Saudi Arabia when I was a kid and haven't had it in 20 years. Are there any authentic restaurants in the LA area?
The item I remember the most is a dough that was flatten out like a pizza then minced lamb and herbs or banana and sugar was folded inside then I think baked-I was 5 so I exactly know. What is this called and is this available in the States or is there a recipe?

Best ethnic food in LA?

I agree with the Sherazad's recommendation. It is one of the best Persian food you can find.
If you want Korean, the best Korean restaurant is Nam Dae Moon in korea town that is 24 hours. It is authentic and some of the dishes are better than what you will find in Korea. This is on 6th and Alexandria in K-town next to the 7eleven.

Nabe Restaurant in Little Tokyo

This place replace another shabu shabu restaurant I frequented. This place was expensive after I had to order extra rib eye. It was 8 out of 10 but I could make this at home if I swing by a Japanese market. I would probably not go back.
