Goat cheese haters?
I have tried so hard to like goat cheese and goat meat, but no matter how I have it, it all tastes musty, like an old closet full of socks. I've tried both from several different restaurants and shops, always the same reaction.
I accidentally offended the owner of a lovely cheese shop by telling her this, she swore I wouldn't be able to tell which of her cheeses were goat when she gave me some samples, but I picked it out right away.
Favorite Chocolate Bar
Aero bars are my all time favorite. Also just found KinderChocolate at Meijer (Midwest grocery chain), which made me soooo happy, my grandmother used to bring bars of it back from her trips to Germany when we were little. Love the milk white filling.
foodie groceries in northern michigan?
Thinking I will have to buy cases and cases of Trader Joe's shampoo and conditioner at the very least, best stuff I have ever used- no sulfates and 3 bucks a bottle. We'll travel several times a year (SF, NYC, etc), thank goodness, but still not the same as having everything 10 minutes away.
foodie groceries in northern michigan?
Most likely moving from Ann Arbor to the Bellaire/Mancelona area in the fall, and already mourning losing Trader Joe's, Whole Foods and the other great food markets here. Any suggestions?
