Cuban Bread in Seattle?
Does anyone know where to find good Cuban style bread in Seattle?
A friend, a FL native and recent transplant, is looking to impress us with some Cuban Sandwiches, but we are sort of lost on finding the bread...
Thanks in Advance.

Hey Kevin B, What is your issue with Shiner Bock? Granted it is not a great beer, but it is a hell of a lot better than most of the macrobrews out there.
Whiskey or Scotch Tastings?
How about any bars with a good selection of whiskey, specifically bourbon or rye, somewhere close to the Time Warner Center? I have dinner plans there tomorrow and was hoping to find some place for a little whiskey before dinner.
Thanks
Best pizza in Seattle?
I know some people do not consider it pizza, but I think that Serious Pie in Belltown has some of the best around.
SEA - 1200 Bistro & Wing Dome - Cap Hill
The old wing dome is set to be a new tequila bar by the same people that own Havana.
Burger Joints near Union Square
Yeah, the website for Town Tavern looks like a frat party gone horribly horribly wrong.
Thanks

Is that Old Town Bar? or Town Tavern?
When I searched google for old town tavern, I got both of the above results. I am coming to NYC next month and am looking for some good burgers
March Madness [SEA]
I have to agree that a lot of places fall short in trying to combine food, drinks, and sports. Every time I have been in either Spitfire of Fox Sports Grill I have had the worst service imaginable, so they are off of my list for now
March Madness [SEA]
I like Sport in Fisher Plaza for watching games, but their beer selection could use some help
Fieri pushing TGI Fridays
Seriously what is with the way this guy dresses and his bleached spiked hair? He is stuck in a fad from the mid-90s. It just really confuses me.
Sliders in Portland?
Well, our final destination will be the Hawthorne District, so any neighborhoods close to that would be great. Thanks
Sliders in Portland?
I am heading down to Portland this weekend and I should arrive on Friday just in time for happy hour. I am looking for some really good sliders and possibly a good selection of beers. Thanks in advance
Mexican restaurant
Thank god someone finally sees Rosita's the same way I do. It is completely overrated but people talk about it like it wonderful.
tips for scoring a reservation @ per se?
I think I must be really really lucky. I called 2 months prior and I got through on the phone and got a reservation on my first try. It is for a Thursday night, so that might have something to do with it. I cannot wait!
Is Per Se worth it?
I was also following this thread and decided to take the plunge. It will be a real extravagance for us, so I am really hoping it lives up to the hype.
(SEA) Fish and Chips
I think the fish and chips at Pacific Inn should automatically be disqualified because it is breaded and not battered.
I am a big fan of the fish and chips and The Elysian Brewery and at Quinn's Pub.
SEA: CHARCOAL Korean BBQ found?!
This is the same address as Old Korean Village
http://www.yelp.com/biz/old-village-korean-restaurant-shoreline#hrid:sRr3SuVKROH9Ow9W-7X7iA/query:old%20korean%20village
Is it the same place or are they different? I think sometimes yelp will have multiple listings for the same place but the names are slightly different, and the reviews will vary vastly between the two.
What is the word on Old Korean Village? I am still pretty new to Korean food and I was thinking of checking this place out...
SEA: What to Order at Tamarind Tree & Green Leaf?
I think the question was about Green Leaf and Tamarind Tree, not what you would do in this situation.
Hamburgers in the Pacific Northwest?
After a few trips to Quinn's, I finally tried the burger last night, and it was amazing. Also, it was cooked perfectly and the fries were perfect.
New Jamie Oliver Show?
I was wondering the same thing, I kept waiting for him to add a little flour to the pie filling, but it never happened
The " Feasty Boys" Beer, Bacon, Butter and Better don't forget the cheese
Worst cooking show ever!
Restaurant review
Here is a rebuttal from another alt-weekly in Seattle

Restaurant review
I would assume that he reviewed the place because it just opened, it has only been open for a couple of months.
Restaurant review
Very emotional and sad, I just feel like this place is in a horrible location to boot
Seattle's Most Touristy, Overrated Restaurants
I always think of The Crab Pot, it seems like a good idea, but it just seemed to miss the mark.
Gastropubs in Seattle
I have to agree, the beer is great, but the food is just not there...
BBQ in Olympia
From today's Seattle Times;
West of Olympia, a mud slide wiped out a landmark eatery, the Ranch House BBQ, off Highway 8 near Summit Lake. A section of the highway will be closed indefinitely, officials said.
