I also presume that they will be starting with something more traditional, in order to get the kitchen up to speed, especially with the F1 coming in less than 2 weeks, and then incorporate more and more creative dishes

Out of the lot, someone will surely make some decent BBQ (or at least I hope)
From their twitter feed, they are mentioning it will be somewhere in the south west, so this is more competition for Boucan
Coupons and Deals
L'Avalanche opened last week, it's another outpost of their Tremblant restaurant
menu: http://avalanchebistro.com/menu-montreal.pdf
As for your coupons, l'avalanche was also offering to convert it to use it at their restaurant on a second visit
http://avalanchebistro.com/troika-fr.html
Which while not perfect, is good to see that they plan on doing something for people that bought coupons from the previous establishment,

Five Guys Burgers - Coming to Montreal !
Even at the one in old Montreal during lunch, they don't cover the flattop with patties if no one is waiting to get served. If a bunch of people comes in, the cashier will approximate a number (on the low side) of patties so that the cooks can get a head start, but it won't sit there waiting for someone, as by the time you ordered, you burger will be ready.
Seems like the Brossard one is poorly managed from that point of view (and surely this will hurt their margins due to waste)
Chobani yogurt - available in Montreal?
I agree the honey one tastes artificial, didn't like it at all, however, the plain one is really good.
Renting a margarita machine
Call party rental places, the same ones that rent inflatable sets for kids
like this one, they have a sno-kone machine available to rent if that is close enough for you

Not a restaurant per se, but Caesar's Tea, a David's tea ripoff opened last month under Simons downtown, exact same concept, except with orange instead of green as the accent color
New interesting laws about alcohol and restaurants

Take out sushi in NDG/Wsmt, centre
Kashima on Greene is pretty good and they do take-out and delivery (although never tried their delivery)
A bit more expensive is Miso corner Atwater and STe-Catherine, they also do takeout and delivery
Beef ribs
I agree on the ones at Boucherie les 2 frères, excellent, i reheat them on on the bbq and that is one great meal.
ISO Prepared rotisserie/bbq chicken Atwater Mkt area
There's also Costco on Bridge street that is not too far if you have a car and membership, i find their rotisserie chicken to be much better than grocery stores ones
Montreal Bachelor Party - Memorial Day Weekend 2012
Doesn't even APDC restricts tables to a maximum of 6, with larger groups being splitted if there's space?
If you want Sake Bombs, head to Imadake on Ste-Catherine and Atwater, Japanese isakaya and they do sake bombs in 2 sizes
Smoke's Poutinerie? Anyone been?
Tried the one in Tremblant, it's meh, fries we're good, but sauces are weak, not much flavor depth, i much prefer a place like La Banquise
