Great places to eat in Seoul, Korea (long)

Thanks so much. This really helps. That soup sounds delicious! And who knows, maybe I'll feel adventurous and just try a bunch of different things while I'm there. I wish I had more than a week to do it in.

Great places to eat in Seoul, Korea (long)

Question. I will be visiting Seoul for a week in April. I'm really afraid I won't be able to find anything to eat. I don't eat seafood at all, or pork. Advice?

I was also wondering if there were any good Indian restaurants in Seoul.

Calle Ocho for Brunch?

If it's the Cuban place I'm thinking of in NYC...go for dinner if you can. The scene is pretty spectacular. I had to wait 15 minutes with a reservation on a Thursday night, but there were 20 of us. Everything was delicious. It brought out my adventurous side; I normally don't eat seafood but I was deilghted by the lobster empanadas and the fried calamari. So good.

Mystic, CT??

S&P- yes that's it. I went there for both lunch and dinner. They exercise better care in their dinner and have some fantastic pasta dishes.

Mystic, CT??

I'm not sure if this applies to summertime only, but there was a strictly enforced 2-hour parking limit in Watch Hill, RI. Not sure if Westerly is the same. So, you might want to check that out if you're planning to dine there...

There is a restaurant in Mystic right on the water..I forget the name but it definitely has "oyster" in the name. Ask anyone, they could tell you. Absolutely phenomenal bloody marys....That's what sticks out in my mind.

MSG-Free In Fairfield County, CT

All,

I recently discovered that I have Monosodium Glutamate Adverse Reaction:

http://wrongdiagnosis.com/m/monosodium_glutamate_msg_adverse_reaction/intro.htm

While I've only gotten this reaction from eating Chinese eggdrop soup twice, I want to steer clear of anything with MSG. Anyone know of any MSG-free Asian restaurants in the area? Do they typically advertise if it's "MSG-free"? Just not sure. I wouldn't mind doing without Chinese cuisine but it would be very heart wrenching for me to give up Thai.

Thanks,

Garlecchina

Cheap eats in Seville?

Is that the area where La Ilustre Victima, the dive-like Moroccan place, is?

Cheap eats in Seville?

And for good, cheap dessert....If it's still around....

Check out Alfalfa 10 in La Plaza Alfalfa. Get their Torta de Tres Chocolates, unless you're allergic to nuts, and their coffee. Incredible.

Dinner in New Canaan after the Nature Center

50 Coins- excellent. Get their chicken potstickers.

Moroccan Food in Fairfield County?

Anyone know of any Moroccan cuisine in the Norwalk-Westport-Darien-Fairfield-Stamford area?

Also...I need help remembering the name of a dish. I had Moroccan food for the first time a few months back at a place in Amherst, MA. The flavor was unforgettable, but the name has escaped me-- it had almonds, sweet white onions, chicken, raisins...and it was served in a type of clay dish...Any idea what this might be, and how it's made?

Thanks,

Garlecchina
