Tie! Belgo in Covent Garden: mussels, pommes frites, mushroom tart, fruit beer -- I was exhausted, it was crammed with people, and it was simple fare done right. The second is the kangaroo I had at LA LOLA in Valencia. Good wine, good meat, good risotto, good service. Crud. I have a third. It was at a food stall on the road between Bangkok and Chiang Mai. Again, I was exhausted, and the food was fresh, hot and amazing.
My current drink of choice:
Balvenie 21 year whisky on the rocks, for a long day. Fruit Twist Fanta, when I can get it.
I really wish I could:
travel at will
My favorite comfort food:
fried egg and rice
My top 5 favorite restaurants:
Belgo, Spaniard Inn, Mark's Duck House, Colvin Run Tavern (even if it is defunct), Thai Luang
