Best Frozen Yogurt in the Triangle?

Tcby is expanding into the next door space in Homestead. I have gone to Moon berries twice in the last two days. It is also great. Clean, lots of selection, creamy- and they have a loyalty card too. Pumpkin spice tastes like pumpkin pie. Didn't try the latte. Their vanilla tastes like ice cream!

Best Frozen Yogurt in the Triangle?

Sweet frog is by far my favorite in the area. It is creamy and there are lots of flavor and topping options. They are friendly and clean too. As far as the religious comment- who cares! It is not in your face. I'm Jewish and I go there all the time. I also like tutti frutti as they have so many flavors but they are a bit icier. Tcby is opening a self-serve option on 54 in 2012. Yopop is good too but more icy.

Best Caterer for a Wedding Reception

I had my wedding reception at The Foundry (Bella Luna catering). People still talk about how great the food was even a year later.

Bakery on Maple Street

The sign is just a small banner. It is in the space that was You-gurt and before that it was Jay's Bubbe Tea. It is next door to PJ's. They are very friendly and I think they do bake on-site. I saw ovens being installed. Not sure though.

The Best Thing You Ever Ate: New Orleans

The crabcakes at Restaurant One is my favorite thing to eat in NOLA. I also love the cochon de lait poboy at Jazzfest but that is "seasonal" for me

2 Chefs coming from San Francisco

I am originally from SF and my favorite New Orleans restaurant is One. I think the chef's name is Scott though- not Todd. We also love Lilette, Bistro Daisy, and Luke.

Jacque-Imos- ordering?

We are thinking about going back to Jacque-Imos soon. We haven't been in some time since it is so rich and heavy. I think I had the BBQ shrimp last time and turned into a stick of butter afterwards. I don't love fried food but I love seafood, especially fish. Any suggestions on what to order? We are taking friends who love the place so we know that they will be happy no matter what.

Stella! or Restaurant August

The amuse bouche (so not our fault in ordering) was an egg shell filled with egg custard with- da da da dah- truffle oil! I seriously almost threw up. It was Easter weekend but it didn't look like a big hit at any table. The fiance ordered gnocchi which said it had truffle oil, so that was our fault. I did not know that I hated it so much. One of the fish entrees had the truffle oil too. The bread was unbelievable though. I love carbs! The appetizer salads were also very good.

Monday breakfast or early lunch

I vote for Stanley on Jackson Square. Breakfast and lunch options are all very tasty and it has a cool vibe. If you like milkshakes, get one!

Stella! or Restaurant August

I agree with you. I am pretty sure you and I have the same "word" to describe the taste. Nothing else really captures it's essence .

Stella! or Restaurant August

So... we went to August. I am not a fan of truffle oil and this seemed to be in EVERYTHING!!!! Beautiful decor and great service but wasn't wowed with the food. Good-but still stopped on the way home for dessert. Stella is next- minus the truffle oil.

What to order at Lilette?

My fiance loves the hanger steak. I enjoyed the beet and goat cheese salad and scallop appetizer. The homemade ice creams are to die for!!

Stella! or Restaurant August

I want to take my parents out for a nice dinner and also wanted to try something new. Which restaurant would be a better choice? I love Lilette, One, and Bistro Daisy but again, want to try something different.
