village fish in needham
This place is awful. We went to dinner last night and we won't be going back. The food was awful, especially the fish but even the salads were bad. The fish wasn't fresh and the place reeked with the smell of old fish. It was cheap but why wouldn't old fish be cheap. Very disappointing. Hostess was very rude. We watched the kitchen staff from our seat and they didn't seem to know anything about food handling skills...constantly touching there face (nose) and then food. Disgusting!!!
Simmer - Canton, CT Anyone Been?
my sister and I went there last year. Disappointing. Okay food but service was awful. Just for one appetizer and 2 entrees we were there over 3 hours. Very slow....server diappeared mid meal and was never seen again. Try bosc in canton.
One night in Providence, RI
I'd highly recommend you don't miss la latiere. An experience to say the least. Excellant food, especially if you appreciate local fresh food. Another recommendation, that is more expensive, is Mills Tavern. One of the best in the area. If you want to splurge definitly reccomend. The foie gras is to die for!!

Foodie sites, bakeries
Hi. I'm visiting san francisco in august. We own a small bakery and looking for some good off the beaten path place. Have already read about all the "big" places to go...ferry building, tartine, citizen cake, etc. I'm looking for small "non-famous" places to go. Cheese shops, bakeries, cooking stores, etc. Thanks for any recommendations.
