Hey! I just moved to Houston about a month ago. Can anyone recommend good places between the FM 1960 area and the Greenspoint area? I really love Chinese, Japanese, Greek, Filippino, Cajun/Creole, Southern, Italian and Mexican cuisines in particular. Thanks! |

I am returning to the Lansing/East Lansing area later this month and have a bit of a dilemma on my hands. You see, my significant other has never been to the area and I have no idea where to take him. The only places I (usually) went to while there were places you'd go with your buddies on a weekend night (ie. Steak 'n Shake, Q Sushi, Woody's, places in Meridian and Lansing Mall) or would order in (ie. Rice Kitchen, Cottage Inn, Menna's Joint). We're traveling on a tight budget...any suggestions? |

Catering in Lansing/East Lansing Can anyone recommend a good caterer in the Lansing area? |

Restaurant rental in Lansing/East Lansing area? Hmm...all of those places sound tempting! As of this second, the event I'm planning for is being held in Grand Ledge, so all of those places sound tempting. I'm not 100% sure how big the event is yet (I'm just in the beginning stages of planning), so this info is a lot of help. Thank you so much! |

Do you know which days (or at least know of a website where I can look it up)? |
Hmm...Chinatown Express sounds tempting too (even though I'm more interested in ramen at the second). I might try that place out this weekend! |
Hmm...might have to try that one out, too. Hopefully, it won't blow when I go there. |

Akasaka sounds really tempting. It's only a few minutes away from my job, too (I work in Crystal City). I might have to try that one out! |

I have a taste for ramen (and not the packs of Oodles of Noodles or Cup of Soup, either). Any suggestions (preferably Metro-accessible)? |

Filippino food near Chinatown? Are there any Filippino restaurants near Gallery Place-Chinatown or Archives Metro Stations that you can recommend? I have a taste for lumpia. |

Restaurant rental in Lansing/East Lansing area? I am thinking about renting out a restaurant rather than doing the traditional banquet hall for a special occasion. Does anyone know if this is possible? What places would you recommend? |

UPDATE: I tried out Cafe Italia yesterday and absolutely loved it! That was the type of place I wanted to find: good food and a place that seemed like a mainstay rather than built for the 9-5 crowd. |

Where in Pentagon City is it? |
It's a little pricey for my tastes, but I'll have to give it a try one day soon. |
That looks really good! I'll have to try that one! |

Mango salad? I've never had that before. What recipe(s) do you recommend? |

Are they a stereotypical pizza joint or is it a gourmet pizza place? There's a place I go to in Michigan called Georgio's (http://www.campusfood.com/restaurant....). That place was, by far, my favorite! |

It sounds tempting...but I park my car in Maryland. Unfortunately, that means that driving is out. Do you know if they deliver? |
I thought about going there the other day, but I thought it was really pricey. Now I'm even more tempted to try it out! |

I haven't yet. I just started working out here at the beginning of the year, so I'm still exploring my surroundings during my lunch hour. There has been less of a need to find food places because of brown bagging it so much. |

I work in one of the office buildings on the south end of CC and I've tried out a couple of those places. They're not bad. Thank you for all your suggestions. I will definitely have to try them out! |

Over the weekend, my family and I went to Noodles & Co. for dinner. We now have some leftover pad thai that I brought with me for lunch. I was wondering what would be a good side dish for it. Any suggestions? |

Hi! I just started a new job in Crystal City and, go figure, don't have a whole lot of money to spend on lunch. While I brown bag it a lot, it's nice to occasionally buy lunch. I LOVE all types of foods, but have become discouraged when looking at prices of lunch at some of the shops around here. Does anyone have any good suggestions for under-10 (I'll even accept under-15 if it includes tip) places to eat? Please keep in mind that I take Metro to and from work. Thanks! |
