Mediterranean Grill in Whitestone is still yummy--and they have brunch, too!
Been there a few times, the last being last weekend. Food and service are great.
Any Suggestions for Group of 14 in Long Island City or Astoria?
Try Riverview. Views of the City, outdoor seating or private room if desired. Had a party there in the winter and they did a great job

Press 195 in Queens-Disappointed
I always liked the sandwiches, soup and salads. We went today for lunch around 1:00. It took 45 minutes for our sandwiches and salads to come. No one came over to check on us. When they did come..I don't if it was the fact that we waited so long or what, but they just weren't as good.
It will be awhile before we return
Bad Experience at Northern Manor in Little Neck
We went there tonite because we previously had eaten a good meal there. It started off nicely as we were shown to a table. Then, it went downhill. It took awhile for our female server to come over. She showed a lack of interest in the taking of our order. Usually you get a complimentary cabbage dish.. All the other tables did, but not us. She brought out only one soup, a vile egg drop and not a second, which was a vegetable tofu or a glass of wine that we ordered. She then went to other tables, to the back and then brought them out dessert. She didn't even look our way. We waited about 10 minutes and when she didn't come back, we got up and left.
I am hoping it was not because we were the only caucasians in the place that resulted in this terrible servicwe. Needless to say, we will not be returning

For Admin Assistants day we brought in food from there. Delivery starts 5/1. Apparently they didn't start cooking until around 11:30. When we opened the food there were dishes missing. They apologized and provided it without question.
