My best food memories are tied to experiences and people I love. Favorites: my Grandma's delicate French apple cake with (not overly sweet) cookie crust (ingenious and her invention), portobello mushrooms that tasted like filet mignon over perfect pasta in a hole in the wall in southern Italy, a brioche the size of my head filled with custard and rock salt

Make a good roast chicken. Mine is eh.

I make a great quiche. Ironically, I loathe quiche.

Anything carby, coated in olive oil or cheese and salty.
