I think I've bagged the idea of Greek. Just not enough to choose from. I wish I could do it elsewhere but it's just not an option. I just posted something new which hopefully you can find. I'm open to anything fun in NYC so long as it's big enough, has a good menu, and fun food. Think Asian, Latin, Fusion, etc .......

30th birthday surprise ...

Hello, All.

I need some help here. Planning my wife's 30th birthday party and I'm looking for a cool place with great food in the city. It also has to be big enough - I think 25 people or so. Looking for something Asian, Latin, Fusion, etc ... Something fun. I've gotten a few suggestions thus far but I'm just not sure.

Ruby Foos - Location might not be great and I think it's kinda small.
TAO - I'm thinking might be too expensive.
Citrus - I like Citrus just not sure.

Need some help. I'm putting together a suprise birthday party for my wife. One of her favorite restaurants is Shish-Kebab on the Island. I'm looking for something with a similar flair that's a FUN PLACE. It's going to be 20+ people so I need to make sure it's not a hole in the wall with 2 tables. Any suggestions????

I posted a message in January of 2008 - my girlfriend just relocated from LI to NJ. One of our favorite places on the island is Waterzooi - love the mussels. I was hoping someone could recommend a restaurant in NJ that might be a Belgian Bistro or even be known for it's mussels. I didn't get any responses.

It's a year later. My girlfriend is now my fiance and we're still looking for suggestions? Any help?
