Recent Crawfish Price Check

Went with friends to Pappadeaux's last week...Crawfish special on Monday and Tuesdays (hurry, ends April 30th) 1.25 lbs for $3.95. They all loved it, each ate about 4 lbs for about 16 dollars, and it comes with potatoes and corn.

Graduation Dinner

There are not too many limitations on type of food or price range. The group will be around 15 and mostly adults.

Where can I find an ice cream cake?

The carvel's in the shlotksy's do not have carvel ice cream cakes, and when i asked them about them i got a blank stare. Randall's supermarkets does have carvel ice cream cakes in different sizes with happy birthday written on it. ENjoy!

Just returned from york beach after a great weekend. We dined at MC Perkins Cove on Saturday night the food was absolutely delightful! I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone interested in a truly memorable dining experience!!!

Ideas for South Yarmouth

my family and i will be visiting south yamouth for a few days in august. As a replant in texas i am looking forward to yummy dinners in the area. Fresh fish, good meats, perhaps a good bar. Looking forward to a few nice dinners with the family before heading down south. Any ideas would be appreciated! (we have a car so we dont mind driving to hyannis or other nearby towns.)

york maine eats

Hi...my friends and I are going to york maine for a few nights for a girls weekend. It's to celebrate our friends upcoming wedding and we'd like to take her to a nice restaurant (seafood/steaks) in the area. There will be 12 of us, some are vegetarians, and some dont eat fish. Please let me know if you have any ideas thanks! (also since i live down in texas if anyone could recommend a place a lunch spot for a great lobster roll)

Sushi in North Austin & RR

Tomo on Parmer is the best! The sushi is so fresh, and the chefs come up with interesting ways to prepare it. They always have speciality fish on the blackboards, and are must try if they haven't run out. My favorite in austin!

Pizza in Austin

the eggplant at home slice is delicious! It's very thin, breaded lightly and then cut up and spread all over the cheese and sauce.

Linguini with white clam sauce?

If you are willing to take the drive I think Ciola's does a lot of great things with clams, and they do have a linguini with clam sauce. As an east coaster I find that there food is as good as you can get as far as italian in Austin. When I first visited the restaurant I had a great conversation with the owner, he told me all of his clams were fresh, thats a plus in my book. I can't wait to hear about the Andiamo review, i have heard very good things about it.

(REAL) bagels in austin

i relocated for the northeast as well and was on a bagel search.. ive found that manny hattans has good bagels. They are H&H from NYC. I know they are probably frozen, but an H&H bagel beats a einstein's or a supermarket bagel in my opinion.
