I think there is/or was a place called Chino Cubano on Bush Blvd. near Bush Gardens on the right hand side of the road going east. Little hole in the wall, don't know if it still there. |

Filet and skin them, remove the very large blood line; you prbably end-up with two pieces by the time you remeove the blood line. Enjoy, a very un-appreciated fish |

The Tampa Wholesale Market sadly is not what it used to be (many years ago) you can still get some good stuff, but is run largely like flee market stalls. The prices and quality at the flee market in the Fun Land drive-in are sometimes better than at the TWM. |

Question for this board, I did not post in the General Topics Board because I was looking for the area's perspective (maybe it will be moved). The question is sharing a table at a restaurant? If you go to a restaurant that has a waiting list for tables, not reservations, or reservation only area, but an area with a first come first served list. If there are empty spots in that particular area, is it a no-no to ask to share a table? Thanks for the input. |

QUESTION ON GULF "BAITFISH" AS A TASTY DISH? [Moved from Florida board] It’s been a while since I’ve gone fishing in the bay. Before you spend a lot of time cleaning a big bucket of unknown bait fish, I recommend you try a hand full of each type you catch, and mentally catalog (or other wise) the fish, for the next time. 1. My favorite way of cleaning the fish is to scale it, even if small, cut of the head and the belly. I don’t care how small the fish is I don’t like the guts. Fry them sprinkle with salt and lime. 2. Clean them the same as above, place them on a BBQ over hot coals, they cook really fast. Remove from BBQ and spoon a mixture of parsley, garlic, lemon and olive oil over the grilled fish. 3. Boil them, use the meat to make “croquettes” and use the broth to make rice or other dishes for filler, because it takes a lot of bait fish to get full. Enjoy |

Sahara Lebanese restaurant / Sami's Bakery (Tampa) The lebanese place on Memorial is open. Small, place lacks any atmosphere, hole in the wall (not iin a bad way) just nothing to say about the place. Stoped a few days ago, picked-up a falfel sandwich, to try them out, and the sandwich was small for the money (I have had better for less). Hope they tune in to the area, and make it. |

Tampa- Bollywood Cafe on Linebaugh, anyone been? Been there a few times, food is good, had better but also had alot worse. The first couple of times it food was not as spicy (hot), however, it has gotten more and more hot, a tad much for me. Eat in, something is lost in the take-out. I recomendt it, funky place (specially on Saturdays) with decent food. |
