Quiet Dinner on the Westside
Going with friends to dinner on Friday night. Any ideas for a restaurant that is moderately priced and on the quiet side? Santa Monica, West L A , Venice or the Marina are all fine. Any type of food although great Italian would be fantastic.
Westside- Westchester, El Segundo, Venice- Burger Craving
Richmond Street Bar & Grille in El Segundo is my favorite. Their homemade potato chips are great too. They have odd hours so make sure to check first.
Graduation Dinner for 4 on westside
You will not be able to hear one another at Red Medicine. Providence is excellent. One Pico at Shutters is pleasant. I also like Rustic Canyon and Farmshop.
Seafood in South Jersey
I would love to find a non-commercial, non-touristy seafod spot at the Jersey shore. A place like Oyster Creek (but with better food) would be great. Love the crabs at Crabby's! Something you would find in New England but not more than 45 minutes from A. C. Steve & Cookie's in Margate is consistently delicious but looking for something more casual. Thank You!

Italian in South Jersey
Visiting Ventnor soon from L A. Looking for old-school Italian - like you would find in New York. My family loves Angelo's but except for the salad I do not think it's fantastic. Would love ideas. Anything within 45 miniutes of A .C.

The Nook
I live very close to The Nook. I have found the food to be good - never fantastic. I have also found the owner to be quite rude. I am not overly sensitive and typicaly do not even notice things like that but the owner of the restaurant acts as if he is doing you a big favor.
PRIME RIB
Lawrys is consistent and the dinner includes an excellent salad, mashed potatoes and yorkshire pudding. Their baked potatoes are delicious as well as the mushrooms. While it is not inexpensive it is fairly priced. Lawrys is a bit touristy and a bit of a production but it's an enjoyable evening. Bandera in West L A has excellent prime rib.
Liver?
Is there a place for good calves liver on the Westside? My mother loves liver & onions.
Red Medicine. Wow.
The food is good but didn't the noise bother you? I could not hear the person I was sitting across from.
21st Birthday Dinner in Los Angeles
Bazaar at SLS would be fun but it is pricey. Killer Shrimp in MDR is fun and reasonably priced. There's a nice patio. It's heavy on seafood. Bottegta Louis in downtown is lively and the food is decent. I am not familiar with the choices at L A Live but I am sure there is something that could work. Have a Happy 21st Birthday!

Ibiza or Formentera
I am looking for a restaurant for a small dinner party of ten guests. Looking for something intimate and private with an amazing view or at the beach. I do NOT want a loud and trendy restaurant. I would appreciate any ideas. The dinner will be in June.
Olive and Milo
Great steamed clams and good pizza. It is very small and they do not take reservations though. It's owned by the team behind Rustic Canyon and Huclkleberry. The dessert is amazing!
Ibiza
I am looking for an intimate spot for a very small non-traditional wedding in Ibiza or Formentera.
We are looking for something with a view of the water or on the beach - non-touristy, with good food. There will be ten of us and we are getting married in the states but would like to have a small ceremony and dinner in ibiza. Something beautiful and private would be great. Thank you so much.
