Not sure. I usually go to the one on Vermont and Hollywood but have been to others and they all seem to carry similar items.

not to mention all the local pita breads and other breads, tons of different charcuterie, 5 different types of feta at least, and my personal favorite; the locally made puff pastry in the freezer section that is better than any brand out there!
Cheap olive oils, wonderful produce, and other good smoked fish to boot!

Best "Huevos Rancheros" in Los Angeles...?
Having had Huevos Rancheros at least 100 times while living in New Mexico; it is important to point out what the ranchero sauce is made from in which over there is made from strictly chilies and I have found here the sauce tends to be tomato based.
Does anyone know of a place that serves it New Mexican style?

I agree. I visited a few Sundays ago and everything my friends and I shared was dull, tasteless and the service was so so.
I had a pretty good breakfast there when the place first opened but it was expensive.
I am surprised the place has lasted as long as it has!

I also suggest Ross. They have always done my knives justice.
Then walk across the street to the farmers market and have a fantastic lunch while you wait.

I loved your dim sum madness blog with great pictures intact.
I still have yet to go out and try some of these places but when I do I will be using this as guide to my dim sum dining!

I forgot about fish king but as I have said before; I am not looking for traditional. I am looking for breaded and fried fish. It brings me straight back to my days in Chicago while attending culinary school.
I would get a bag of what was probably scrod that was BREADED and fried.
It made studying fun. I am just looking for a version of it. Not the english pub style.

Thanks to everyone and their thoughts.
I did go to Joe Shanghai in chinatown-NYC then later to the Manhattan location which wasn't nearly as tasty as the chinatown version and since this was my first time eating them; it just seemed like a bun of heaven to me.
Now that I am at home I will be indulging in soup dumplings galore around socal.
