When the weather gets nice check out the The Old Salt House which is attached to the Atlantica. I don't think they are open for the season yet. It's great sitting outside at Cohasset Harbor and watching the lobstermen bring in their catch and bring it to the restaurant. Their burgers are pretty good too. |

Yeah, Beachfire is closed and for sale. I think your best bet for a Monday would be Schooner's. Besides the hotel, Bob's and Daddy's I think it's the only place open too. I live in Hull and eat at Schooner's the most out of all the places in town. There is a new pizza place at L street called Wise Guys. Haven't tried it yet, but there is a whole wheat pizza option so it sounds like it's not a typical pizza place. |

Are Buff's Pub wings really all that ? I've had Buff's and Wendell's and they are different species. Wendell's are tiny and I think it's the 3.5 sauce that people are really raving about. I even had tried their double dare and could only eat 2 1/2. Don't get that. It's impossible. My favorite wings are from Conley's in Watertown. They claim they are fresh and never frozen. I just found my second favorite at Daddy's in Hull. But the Garlic Hot sauce is the way to go, so I don't know if that counts. ----- Daddy's Beach Club |

Best Fish and Chips in Boston? We caught a Dogfish on a fishing charter. We asked if we could eat it and the skipper said that people usually don't here, but they are sent to England for their fish n chips. The fishing charters hate them because when you hook them they just swim around in a circle and get tangled in everyone's lines. Very cool looking fish though. |

The Independent -- WHAT HAPPENED? We stopped going when they got rid of the steak and gruyere cheese apps. How I miss those. |

We went about a month and half ago...We were the only ones in there on a Friday around 6. The only thing I remember about the food is how salty everything was. Maybe an off night? |

Chauncey Creek Lobster Pier, Kittery Point, ME - June 2009 report I went last weekend and the fish bites had a weird vinegary taste to the batter. Not good at all. Note: Bring your own melted butter. |

Where to buy Liquor, Spirits, and Booze online, cheaply? Bin Ends in Braintree is good pricedr wines. The staff is super helpful and they are always tasting. They can even ship to you. |

Where to buy the best dry scallops besides Whole Foods? As did the Cambridge location. They were HUGE. $20/lb though. |

Boston, bachelor party, brunch and pre-Sox grub Make sure you use the mens bathroom at the Bleacher Bar. You'll see... And I would definitely go here for a couple of drinks The Cask isn't a dive anymore : ( |

Cape Anne CSF members - what's the mid-term grade? I am happy that I signed up for this and I think it's a great idea, but personally I probably won't sign up again. I haven't had any complaints about the quality of the fish so far, but I am starting to get sick of Cod. I really thought the variation of fish would be more frequent. I understand it's what they can catch that day, but it's not worth it to me. I rather go to fish store and get what I feel like eating. |

Favorite cole slaw/pasta salad to go? Ok. |

Favorite cole slaw/pasta salad to go? Does anyone have a favorite place to buy one of these BBQ side dishes for camping? I was going to make some, but I'm also making a bunch of other things and would rather just pick this up. |

Yah, what is that smell? It was there the last time I went too. |

Boston area beer gardens, patio bars, outdoor games? Yes! After googling Yerardi's it looks like it closed. Too bad. |

On weekends the Plough has Brunch and often a loud band playing during it. If you are trying to catch up it might be hard to hear over the music. The MOS has great veggie burgers. ----- |

Boston area beer gardens, patio bars, outdoor games? Daedalus in Harvard Square has a roof deck. A friend brought me to a bar that had outdoor bocce a few years ago. It was in Newton...I don't remember the name of it or know if it's still there. Does anyone else? ----- |

Atwoods is pretty good and if it's nice out they might have their big front window open. East Side Grill has some good food too. I've only had their Greek steak tip salad though, but I see people picking up their pizza the two times I've been there. The salad is pretty big with fresh veggies and lots of feta. Their tips are tender with a tangy marinade. They're kinda pricey though. |

The New Fenway Frank-Anyone Tried It? I liked the old dog better. The new ones aren't bad...the olds ones are just nostalgic to me. Kinda disappointing. |

Danny's Diner owner passes away Mass Ave Restaurant in Cambridge was owned by him. I don't know if he sold it before opening Danny's Diner. I used to go to MAR a lot.. |

This is where I go before I go to the zoo and order just that. Yum! |

I always go to Louie's Alive & Kickin' Lobsters in Cambridge, near the River St. Whole Foods. Call before you go because when I went in on a Saturday he was out. He said he was getting some more in on that Sunday. ----- |

Trader Joe's out of the Fresh Pond project I think the second story are offices, first D&D's. |

What is the price for lobsters these days? Bought one at Star Market for $8.99/lb after we found out Louie's Alive and Kicking didn't have any on Saturday. Tasty. |

Deeply offended by the new 'Whopper Virgin" TV Ads. Am I totally crazy? Our society needs to stop pushing the "offended" button. This is just a commercial...they made a commercial that is going to spark conversation. Sparking conversation gets people thinking about your product and because of this, I had a Whopper dream last night. I haven't eaten at BK in over a decade. |

Crowley's W.Newton now Nelly's or The Local Went to The Local for the first time this weekend. Don't get the lobster mac n' cheese. For $14 there was very little of everything; flavor, lobster, and pasta. There was some mystery object in it too. My SO got a burger and was cooked as ordered and he enjoyed it. I would like to go back and try more things on the menu, but that lobster mac n' cheese really turned me off. |

I just had this about a month ago and it was delicious. Some what similar is the steak pizza at Cambridge 1. This one has more of a sharp taste with their gorgonzola and and arugula though. They do have a roasted onion pizza on the menu, so I wonder if they would put that on their steak pizza for you in lieu of the arugula? |
