Was just at the RWC store on Sunday and they had some Pomi Tomatoes for 50cents but they were over by the coffee section on the end aisle. Also bought Kettle brand black bean tortilla chips for 1.49
Guacamole that had just expired for 50 cents.
Some of the goat cheese were also on sale for 1.29.
and Pretzel crisps for 99cents a bag.

I discovered this at the San Mateo location. I had thought I had read somewhere the organic milk was from Straus.

Trader Joe's Milk question
Was going to buy skim milk from Trader Joe's the other day and the organic milk listed dry skim milk as part of the ingredients and the non-organic skim contained condensed skim milk. Have not noticed that before as part of the contents. Is this new? Ending up buying Clover milk at another store which only listed milk (along with the normal vit a and d added) as their ingredient.

U-pick organic farms within SF Bay Area or reasonable driving distance?
Just got from a few hours ago from Pease Ranch and like the other posting said they do not spray. Cherries were great, people were super friendly and all at 2 bucks a pound. Don't know the name of the place, but the people at Pease Ranch recommended the people next door who sell U pick Organic Peaches and Nectarines. The Nectarines were not ready, but they had two kinds of White Peaches to pick... all organic. Would recommend as well.

Hosting a birthday party for my sister for about 12-15 of her friends, but don't have anytime to cook. Was thinking about getting some spring rolls, Vietnamese egg rolls and maybe some noodles or grilled chicken and pork dishes. Is there a good place in the city that I can order trays of this? Work in the financial district and can pick it up after work. Moved up last year, so only familar with a few places. If there is other food that would be easy to serve that would be fine, maybe like Mediterranean/Greek food would also work. Trying to keep a reasonable budget. Any help would be apprecatied. thanks.
Fresh crab in the peninsula to fly with

The New England place is suppose to be wholesale place that sells to the public. I figured they can help me pack them on ice and in a styrofoam continer to ship back. Where the 99 Ranch I would be on my own. Also do you know with all the airline regulations and changes if I can fly with live crabs? Could buy them cooked, but I figure they would not be as good and a special treat for the family. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

Best Ice Cream on the Peninsula?
There is a place in San Mateo called Clear Optometry which has great frozen yogurt, but also has ice cream from Ici and Marco Polo Gelato. The place is also an Optometry place which gives it a very unusual twist.

Planter's Cheez Balls
Sis just got back from Australia yesterday and brought me back a bag of Cheetos Cheese and Bacon balls. Have not seen them in the US, but have not really looked for them. They were the same size as the Planter's Cheez balls. Not quite as hard, but still cheesy and definitely a bacon taste. They were really yummy. We ate the whole bag in almost one sitting.

Paul Newman Organic cinnamon or peppermint mints 99cents a pack (sort of like life savers) You can buy the giner mints individually for 25cents.
Didn't buy, but they had POM Iced coffee at 2 for a dollar for all the coffee lovers out there.
All in all not too bad. :)
Best Trader Joe's cookies?
I just got a box of TJ Metropolitan Cookies which is a cookie topped with bitterseet Belgian chocolate. The chocolate was quite nice and overall the cookie was surprisingly good. The ingredients seem to be pretty wholesome and sweetened with sugar instead of corn syrup. Even more they only cost me 99cents which is a great price for a dozen cookies. Going back tomorrow and pick up a few more.

Where can I get vegetarian spring rolls and egg rolls for a party in San Diego
Thanks for everyones help. I ended up at a place called A Chao on Menlo and El Cajon. They have the basic spring rolls and also made ones with the shrimp with the sugar cane. A little bit different and very good.

We are going to have a party was looking for a place where we can buy a large tray of spring rolls and egg rolls that are vegetarian or made only with shrimp. None of use eat meat, but we do eat seafood. Linda Vista Foods use to make a vegetarian one, but they sold the business and it is now a small restaurant. My Dad is visiting and loves fish and chips. Where is the best place for it? We are in Carmel Valley, so San Diego, or North County would both work. We have been to Point Loma Seafoods, but it will be closed by the time we get there for dinner. Is Fish House Veracruz any good for fish and chips, or Bluewater grill?

Ultimate Happy Hour in DT, La Jolla, Beaches? - San Diego
Just to let you know that I went to Fresh last week and they are no longer doing happy hour. Roppongi still is, so we went there. The crab stack was had too much fish sauce and overpowered the dish and the sauce on the scallops was not very good as well. I loved going to there for happy hour, but the quality has definitly changed IMO.
