Recommend Blender for specific need

I just need a blender to make smoothies with Cilantro / Parsley (weekly)

Now, which blender would you recommend for this without breaking the bank (so no Vitamix)?

Thank you!

Steamer add-on..?

great.. thanks

I can only assume that this sort of steamer cant compare to the traditional full steamer.. but to me this seems to make it so easy (read that faster) to use that I can quickly steam a few veggies

Buttery Steamed Bun .. a la McDonald's

No, not asking about the oriental style steam buns ....
Those of you who have eaten Southern Style Crispy Chicken Sandwich at McD's know the type of bun I'm asking about...they call it 'Buttery Steamed Bun' -- are these made this way from scratch or is there a way to transform regular bun into this way?

Anchovies / Sardines .. how to love them (or at least tolerate em ;))

Okay, can we agree that anchovies and sardines (canned) are an acquired taste?

Now since these are healthy, how do you make recipes that will make them tolerable (then maybe love) for the younger ones?

Thanks

Fish in Aluminum Foil or Parchment

I normally used to deep fry or shallow fry and lately trying to become more healthy, trying to learn to bake in oven :-)

When I baked Salmon in Aluminum Foil, I used seasoning and lemon slices... (after 15 minutes @ 350), the fish tasted bitter wherever the lemon slices were there!

Are there some no-no's for cooking fish in Aluminum Foil, Parchment?

Also, what are pros and cons of Aluminum Foil versus Parchment?

Your views on white non-stick pans

The one above has ceramic coating. Are any Teflon pans that are white?

Your views on white non-stick pans

Some of the cooking shows use the white colored non-stick pan (like a dutch oven)... the food just seems to look nice with the white contrast :)

But I'm not sure if this is good enough to last for a decent time (not years)

Those of you who tried them, what are your experiences?

Thanks!

Small fish grilled/fried..

Tried sardines at a Chinese place (New Town Super Buffet, Burbank) and they had such a strong flavor) .. how do you take care of that strong flavor? or is like.. 'if you don't like that flavor, then its not for you' :)

Small fish grilled/fried..

Saw this in some travel/cooking shows... small fish (sardine maybe).. marinated and grilled outside.. that gets my appetite going.. if you know what I mean :)

Now, I cant find that in local restaurants... so please suggest some places that make this kind of small fish recipe... preferable closer to Burbank/Glendale/Pasadena

Also, if you can point me to some good recipe ideas for the same..

Thanks muchos
