great.. thanks I can only assume that this sort of steamer cant compare to the traditional full steamer.. but to me this seems to make it so easy (read that faster) to use that I can quickly steam a few veggies |

Anchovies / Sardines .. how to love them (or at least tolerate em ;)) Okay, can we agree that anchovies and sardines (canned) are an acquired taste? Now since these are healthy, how do you make recipes that will make them tolerable (then maybe love) for the younger ones? Thanks |

Fish in Aluminum Foil or Parchment Aha! ...I'll have to get parchment or not use lemon with peel.. thanks |
Fish in Aluminum Foil or Parchment I normally used to deep fry or shallow fry and lately trying to become more healthy, trying to learn to bake in oven :-) When I baked Salmon in Aluminum Foil, I used seasoning and lemon slices... (after 15 minutes @ 350), the fish tasted bitter wherever the lemon slices were there! Are there some no-no's for cooking fish in Aluminum Foil, Parchment? Also, what are pros and cons of Aluminum Foil versus Parchment? |

Your views on white non-stick pans The one above has ceramic coating. Are any Teflon pans that are white? |
Your views on white non-stick pans Some of the cooking shows use the white colored non-stick pan (like a dutch oven)... the food just seems to look nice with the white contrast :) But I'm not sure if this is good enough to last for a decent time (not years) Those of you who tried them, what are your experiences? Thanks! |
