Impossible to list - too many things make up a 'best' meal and I've been very fortunate in the flavors, locations, and friends . . .

Always water - lime or lemon optional. With meals - something within the profile of the meal

Cook in Keller's kitchen for a month, a week, a day . . . and that he would beg me to stay

I could not even begin to list - I've been very fortunate.

McGee, la rousse, Italian Country Table (Kasper), App Atlas (Meyer) for the flavors to riff, and all of Madison's veg cookbooks. French Laundry for humility.
