I have a lot of apples left from apple picking this season. I want to make something with them and then freeze it. Any suggestions? I did a google search and the one thing I found that looked promising was apple pie filling.

Can I use my grill's rotisserie for a semi boneless leg of lamb?

I have a small oven and want to make roasted lemon potatoes for Easter this Sunday. Is there anything I should know about grilling the lamb? Will I be able to attach the rotisserie even though it will still have part of the bone? Thanks for any advice you can give me.

Good price for lamb?

Does anyone know where I could find a good price on a lamb leg? Doesnt matter bone in or boneless. BJ'S has a boneless one for $7.49 lb and I think stop and shop has one for $4.99 lb semi boneless. What's the cheapest you have seen it? I'm hosting my first Greek Easter this year and didn't realize how expensive lamb was.
How much lamb per person? I'm thinking we are having about 15 people. I may make a turkey or ham too to offset the costs a bit.

Can you refrigerate cookie dough with potato chips in it?

I want to make Sweet and Salty cookies for a party on Saturday. Do you think I can make them ahead and refregerate the dough? If not, should I make the dough without adding the pretzels and potato chips and just add them when I am ready to bake them? Will that compromise the flavor?

2 1/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon salt (optional)
1 cup (2 sticks) butter, softened
3/4 cup granulated sugar
3/4 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla extract
2 large eggs
2 cups (12-oz. pkg.) NESTLÉ® TOLL HOUSE® Semi-Sweet Chocolate Morsels
2 cups coarsely broken rippled potato chips
1 cup small pretzel twists, broken into 1/2-inch pieces
1/2 cup unsalted peanuts (optional).Directions
PREHEAT oven to 375° F.

COMBINE flour, baking soda and salt in small bowl. Beat butter, granulated sugar, brown sugar and vanilla extract in large mixer bowl until creamy. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well after each addition. Gradually beat in flour mixture. Stir in morsels, potato chips, pretzel pieces and peanuts. Drop by rounded tablespoon onto ungreased baking sheets.

BAKE for 9 to 11 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on baking sheets for 2 minutes; remove to wire racks to cool completely.

Business dinner near Norwood, where should we go?

We have some customers coming and would like to take them out for dinner. I was thinking Joe and Maria's in Norwood or Not Your Average Joes in Needham. I love Sweet Basil, but don't want the hassel of bringing our own wine. I would like it to be near 95 for convenience. If you have any recommendations or comments regarding my choices, please let me know what you think.

I decided to go there last night for some take out. I ordered C05. Shredded Pork in YuXiang Sauce $8.95 with plain white rice. I usually order this at Sichuan Gourmet, but lately it's been lacking in flavor and figured I would start with this at Red Pepper.
I loved it. I thought it was really good, had more flavor than the one served at SG, a little thicker sauce too. It was spicy, but not too spicy with some sweetness to balance it. I don't have much experience with authentic asian food, so I can't say if it's authentic or not, but that one particular dish I liked more at RP than at SG. They also have hot pot there too that I am looking forward to try.
