Sorry. Here is the link. |

Check out the website again. Althought the writing is hard to see on many of the pages because of the background photos, the menus are in PDF. Sounds great and needs to be for those prices. |

Any early reviews by Chowhounds for this new place in Simsbury, CT? Only been open for a week (really only 4 days since theu serve on W-Sat, I believe). |

I thought the dough was lifeless and not very flavorful. The toppings were definitely fresh but overall it was not a pizza I would seek out again. As I said was really looking forward to thIs place given the reputation. I am a big fan of Little City if you know that place in Simsbury. It is not as thin as Colony, but the dough is much more prominent and tastes great as a part of the entire flavor profile of the pizza. To each his own, I guess. |

Had lunch at Colony Grill a couple of weeks ago and was extremely disappointed. I was aware when going that it was a pizza and salads only spot, which was fine. But, the pizza was really disappointing. I had heard about the place in Stamford and hoped that it would be a great add to the Farmington Valley scene. I am hoping that I just picked a bad day and wanted to hear from others that may have liked it more than me. |

Was at Matunuck Oyster House twice in one week in July. I cannot recommend the oyster's highly enough. Unfortunately I found the fish entrees to be very fresh but uninspired. Not very creative or flavorful. Maybe I should have just stayed with the oysters! |

Thank you. |

Is there a great fish market you would recommend in the Narragansett area? Thank you. |

Thank you for the recommendations. |

Heading to Narragansett for the week of July 4th. Would love any recommendations for great seafood restaurants, markets and any other foodie places. Thank you. |

Recommendations for Sandwich, MA? will be in Sandwich, MA with a U-11 boys soccer team for a Memorial Day tournament. I would love to get some recommendations for meals for both families and adults. All types of food and price points within 30 minutes or so (probably on Cape preferred given bridge traffic). Thanks in advance. |

the Mill at 2T, Tariffville, Ct. The Mill at 2T is the best restaurant in the Valley. Small cozy space, huge palate of flavors/textures by Ryan and utterly welcoming approach by Kelleane. Highly recommended as a special event dining destination. Keep this one close as it will be very hard to get reservations in the very near future. |

Bantam Bread - Plainville Ct location I was one of the people they were trying to market to (I live in Simsbury) and never saw much from them in the way of avertising. I stopped in half a dozen times, or so, over a few months and was never very impressed. I wanted to support them (I crave a good bakery-especially bread) but could never rely on Bantam to have a great selection and was not always impressed with the quality of what was available. Sorry it did not work out for them. |

The Cookhouse in E. Hartford, CT Does anyone know if the Cookhouse closed in East Hartford? I was passing their web site along to a friend and noticed the menu and directions tab did not include E. Hartford as a choice. Thank you. |

Student Prince, Springfield MA, One of 'Gourmet's' Best The Student Prince (or as I call it, The Fort-which is the bar's name) is a place to visit, but it is not a foodie destination. I literally grew up in the place having been bron and raised in a nearby town, but it is not a spot I even think of for a decent meal. It is very unfortuantate, but IMO, undeniably true. I still go once or twice a year, but with sadness. |

Interesting. Sounds like it is worth a visit. Thanks for the update. |

Romantic Place in the Bershires Pam: Greetings. I am quire certain you will receive many recommendations, but for my money, based on your description, I would recommend the Old Inn on the Green (see link below). It is full of fireplaces and a great Fall feel since it is lighted entirely by candlelight. Great food and wonderful atmosphere. I hope werever you end up is memorable. |

Spent 3 nights at the Captain Lord Mansion in Kennebunkport. Ate a several spots recommended by Chowhounders. We loved: Bandaloop-earthy crunchy vibe with real culinary skill in kitchen. Awesome aged cheddar quesadilla that was so simple but amazing in taste (cheese crusted on one side); Cape Arundel Inn-Ralph Lauren location and appearance; good service but food did not live up to my expectations. I would go back for the view and a drink but not dinner. We had lunch in Portland at Duck Fat and loved the fries (like everyone else). We also enjoyed Hurricane in Kennebunkport and have already recommended it to others headed to Maine. Again thanks to all of the recommendations. |

Kennebunkport/Portland in August I have never heard of Hurricane Restaurant but will add it to my list. Thank you. |

Kennebunkport/Portland in August Very intriguing. I will look into the ferry. Thank you. |

Kennebunkport/Portland in August Greetings Chowhounders. I have just booked a long weekend in early August in Kennebunkport. I am looking for recommendations for all meals in Kennebunkport, Portland and the general vicinity. I have not been to this part of Maine for 3 or 4 years (I have been to the White Barn, Fore Street, Street & Co.) and would love to hear what you all recommend at any price point or type of cuisine. Thank you in advance. |

I am not sure what board to post this question on, but chose this one for geograhpic reasons. I recently purchased a smoker and was wondering if anyone in the Hartford, CT or Springfield, MA area had a source for dry hardwood? Thank you in advance. |

Sorry for my spelling problems! La Trattoria in Canton, CT. There. |

I have driven by this restaurant on Rt. 44 in Canton, CT many times and have never stopped to try it. Have any of my fellow Chowhounds eaten at La Tratorria and do you recommend it? Thank you. |

We would be looking for a good/great meal and would not be looking for a St. Pat's Day experience necessarily. |

My wife has lined up a babysitter for us for March 17th (St, Patrick's Day). We have not been out as a couple (i.e. sans children) since last Summer. Yes, we are pathetic! My question for you Chowhounders is where? Where do I take my spouse for this one, very rare, hopefully glorious, culinary outing? I need suggestion/recommendations and I need them immediately. We are willing to travel up to an hour from the Simsbury/Avon/Farmington area (been to Max's Oyster, Bricco, Metro Bis, etc). Seafood, ethnic restaurants and any other favs are welcome. I am pleading here!!! Thank you in advance. |

Ate lunch at The Cookhouse in East Hartford. I am always afraid of going to BBQ places in New England because so many of them are utterly dismal. I like The Cookhouse. The atmosphere is definitely more family friendly and clean (mini-chain), but I was happy with the ribs, chili and pulled pork. I will go back and recommend it for as an almost great BBQ place. |
