Recently Dined at Naha?
I was there in April I think and thought it was terrific, definitely one of my top 7-8 places in the city. Last time I was there I had a fried soft shell crab dish that was really good, but not sure if they're still in season though.
Back to Chicago for 2 months - need recs
I like Toro Sushi (clark/wrightwood) and Athenian Room (webster and halsted, great chicken kalamata).
Lakewood/Lincoln Park Help?
I think it's worth travelling for Frontera, Blackbird, Avec or Mercat. They're not really that far from Lincoln Park (a few miles and like $10-$12 cab ride or $2 on the CTA) and I think the better food outweighs the travel inconvenience.
Restaurant For My Birthday Dinner
I was at Mercat recently and had the roast pig. It's a lot of fun and is a great idea for a big group. The other items off the menu that we tried (short rib flatbread, roast lamb chops) I also liked very much.
rueben sandwich in lincoln park/lakeview
Frances Deli on Clark probably has a Reuben.
Looking for a great korean dinner in chicago
I've been to SuRa and didn't enjoy it all. It's not authentic Korean, it's Korean fusion and not very good Korean fusion at that. The red chili paste for the bibimbap had red wine vinegar mixed in and was served with cabbage and corn toppings. I certainly appreciated the creativity, but it didn't work taste-wise for me.
Granted, I went the month it opened, so I hope it has improved since then.
Need Suggestions
I like the pizza at Lou Malnati's--it's not too far from your hotel. They do both a Chicago style deep dish pizza as well as a thin(ner) crust pizza.

Armitage/Halsted Area
2nd Babareeba and Vinci--I like them both. I haven't eaten there yet--but my spouse likes the food at Landmark. Also not very far from Armitage/Halsted is Riccardo's Trattoria on Clark which I really like.
Cheap and good places around Park West venue?
Another place nearby is RJ Grunts. Inexpensive burgers, sandwiches, salad bar.
Best Sushi Restaurant/Bar For Toro?
Kuni's is on Main street on Evanston, so not by the NW campus. It's a traditional no frills sushi place similar to Itto sushi in Lincoln Park. I liked it a lot and seems like others do too. http://www.yelp.com/biz/kunis-japanese-restaurant-evanston
Your favorites in Little Tokyo?
If you like ramen, Daikokuya has such an excellent tonkotsu ramen.
Best Korean in Chicago?
Don't know if you're looking for a place in the city, but Hanabi in Lincoln Park has a serviceable bibimbap.
Best Sushi Restaurant/Bar For Toro?
Kuni's in Evanston has very good sushi (generous portions and good prices) and I have heard good things about Sushi Wabi. I also really like Toro Sushi but have not tried the Toro there.
Weekend in Chicago...need restaurant recs
Avec (same owner as Blackbird) is a little less foodie, but I actually like the food better there than Blackbird.
Fomerly well fed mother ISO spectacular meal
Trotter's is such a lovely spot with amazing service, but I didn't think the food was that memorable--I don't remember anything I had there. I thought Alinea was far more unique and had really beautiful presentation. While not as big on style/presentation, I personally adore the food Spiaggia, I've always been amazed by the food there.
