Eating at Andre for my 30th birthday on Sunday. I'll also be 30 weeks pregnant so no raw fish OR booze. Help me make this special. Recommendations? Thanks! |

Park City/SLC Recommendations for 2-month stay SheriffL, check, check check. All of those suggestions are exactly what I had in mind. Takashi is the best sushi, Mazza is the best Med (and reasonable!), Red Iguana is the best Mexican. Of course all of those are in Salt Lake, but for the prices you will get in Salt Lake it is probably worth the drive. |

Looking for some Denver Recommendations just seeing these again and wanted to clarify. I really only think that the breakfast is "sensational" everything else is "solid." |

I have had some really hit or miss experiences with Chinese/Asian Takeout in Denver. Not big on Thai Basil. Uptown Wok is decent but expensive. Does anyone have any suggestions? I'm in the uptown area but willing to travel for something worthwhile. Thanks! |

Favorite Restaurant In Denver? Rioja. |

Looking for some Denver Recommendations Steuban's for breakfast. on 17th Street, not a far walk from your hotel. It has an old school diner ambience in a very mod kind of way. The food in sensational (my husband loves the Chicken Fried Steak, and I usually go for the Basic or Lox and Cream Cheese Bagel . . . although the cast-iron skillet french toast is phenomenal, just a little small). Don't miss this Denver gem! Sports bars. Across the street from Steuban's is the Uptown Tavern and they have a bunch of tvs always playing sports. They also have an outside patio that is sensational and there are tvs out there as well. |

Fruition and Rioja are two of my favorite Denver restaurants. Fruition is more of a hike but worth it. Rioja is right downtown and near both a champagne and wine bar for pre or post dinner drinks. (Cru and Corridor 44--both in "Larimer Square"). Kevin Taylor is supposed to be very posh and wonderful though I have never been there. |

Sonoda's is not so good. Sushi Sasa is probably the best. Sushi Den is next (very busy atmosphere though--a plus for some a negative for others). Kaddy Corner from Sushi Den is a restaurant called "Izakaya Den" which was opened by the same owners of Sushi Den. This is a french-japanese fushion tapas restaurant--if you can imagine that. There are myo rolls (make your own); and a few other rolls with the same quality fish as Sushi Den, but then there are also more "french" dishes as well, all in appetizer sizes. The ambience is pretty cool in there, though I think the sushi, while decent, is not as good as Sushi Den. This is a good place to go if you are going with beginners or people who don't like sushi. Then you can have your cake and they can have theirs! ;) |

Looking for Dives in Salt Lake City I absolutely LOVE The Avenues Bakery on 500 East and South Temple. They do an amazing breakfast AND lunch and they have a small patio. It's definitely not a "dive" but it is reasonably priced for both breakfast and lunch and you should definitely be able to bring your pooch. |

I may be an idiot, but I can't decipher the menu at La Grenouille. Are all the entrees the same price? Thanks! |

Thirty dollar entrees is about what I had in mind. Love foie, duck, oysters, escargot, the basics. Thanks for all the help! |

Coming to Manhattan in mid January with my parents (in their 60s) and looking for an excellent French restaurant. My parents don't drink so the wine menu is not an issue (unfortunately for me). Location is also not much of an issue. Just want something fabulous! Was thinking about Cafe des Artiste? Any other suggestions? Input on Cafe des Artiste? Thanks! |
