Corks in Federal Hill-opinions since the reinvention?

I had never been to the old Corks since it was a little too pricey for me, so was happy to see that they had rennovated and came out with a new menu. Went last night, and had:

Chefs Blend Fondue - was very tasty, came out perfectly, nice and hot!
Pork Belly BLT - I actually wanted to order the lamb gyro but they didn't get in their lamb for the day, so I ordered the BLT. It was very greasey, extremely! I would definitely not order it again, and that with a combination of fries seemed to be way too much fat / grease for me to handle!
Bread Pudding - we all split bread pudding which was very good! It was a unique flavor of orange and pinapple which was light and freshing taste

Reasonably priced wines as well. Overall the atmosphere was great, it got a bit more crowded as it got later around 9ish. Good service as well, very attentive and knowledgable about the wines.

no more changes on menu at Victoria's

Went there yesterday for an early dinner. The place was pretty empty but did start filling up around 6:30. We sat in the "pub" side by the bar which was nice, service was good - knowledgable about the beers (however with all of the beers that they supposedly carry they were almost out of all of the seasonal ones!). Food was good - we had the poutine which was really yummy with duck fat fries covered in warm gravy and cheese. And then sampled the flatbreads which were decent. Overall a good experience and would go back --though definitely not cheap-- the beers that we did order which were drafts of an Octoberfest were $7 each!!

Baltimore Waterfront Marriott suggestions

There are a ton of options in that area!

Harbor East - just a walk down the block:
Cinghiale
Lebanese Taverna
Oceanaire Seafood

Just a little Further:
There's Little Italy a few blocks away with a lot of options
Lemongrass for Thai a few blocks North
Pazo a few blocks down Aliceanna
And also many restaurants in Fells Point that aren't far away and are walkable- Peters, Mezze for tapas.

Bmore Cupcake Throwdown - Who Wins?

Love Baltimore Cupcake Co. Definitely my favorite by far! Was just there last week and tasted the chocolate brownie and red velvet cupcakes! Everytime I return, I truly enjoy the flavors and the cake / icing ratio. I even packed up 4 cupcakes to bring back to NY for people to try this past weekend! They devoured them!

fun/good spots to eat near Inner Harbor/Fells Point

I 2nd Peters!

Ra Sushi Baltimore Review

I will agree about the temp in the restaurant! I was there on Saturday night and it was insanely hot just to sit at the tables by the bar.

I've been there several times however and have always had good service and enjoyed the sushi. Although I do like other local places in the area for sushi as well, I think its a good option and have felt that the prices and portions are comparable. I've always left feeling completely stuffed. I usually get the rainbow roll which is good, spicy tuna roll which is also good, and have also tried a couple of their special rolls which are different and interesting to try.

Meli - Baltimore

If the lavendar salmon was the highlight, I'm glad that I didn't taste anything else. Went there last night for dinner. The food was so-so, I ordered the salmon, and friend ordered the chicken pasta spinach dish which appeared to be really lacking. The desert was the pistashio phyllo thing and that was ok, nothing to rave about. The service was actually very good, knowledgable and attentive. The space is a little strange with the drop ceilings, I feel like conversations echo in there a bit, and the space downstairs which is more of a lounge area looks like it might be interesting on the weekend nights.

Most romantic Sat dinner spot in Baltimore

Looking for Inner Harbor Rest. Recommendations

What about restaurants over in Harbor East? I short walk from the inner harbor, you could go to Roys - they have a lot of seafood on their menu - its Hawiian / Asian fusion inspired.

Bluestone recs?

I like the fried green tomato appetizer and their scallops are usually pretty good! Not sure about their wine list though, usually we just order drinks instead.

Great dinner in Tysons Corner area?

What about Clydes, right by the mall area. I've always like their food, though they are a regional chain.

Baltimore Cupcake Tour (Cakelove & BCC)

I love BCC! And have always liked how much frosting they use on their cupcakes! I had a really good pumpkin cupcake there back in the fall. It was to die for!

I haven't tried Cake Love yet, but i'm sure i'll get there! Thanks for the review

That Restaurant You Always Wondered About??

I've been to Mrs. K's Toll House...about 2 years ago. Had an enjoyable romantic dinner with my boyfriend. Great little garden behind the restaurant and if you get seating right by the window its actually very nice to look out on! Food was good, though since its been 2 years I couldn't say what I had other than I do know that my dessert involved a toll house cookie of some sort which was rather tastey!
