Hungry Cat had one as a special once when I went there. It was AMAZING!! I'd call them and see if they plan on doing it again. well worth it
The Green Spot
I'm surprised this is the only topic on this place here. I hear the green spot is amazing. And I just found the recipe for a Lobster there. Easy and delicious! I know it's been asked already, but has anyone been there?
South OC - La Fondue or Melting Pot
I'd use your gift card. Melting pot is nothing to get that excited over.

Marriage proposal at restaurants... [moved from SF Bay]
I don't think it's cliche or weird. some girls might like it some wont but you should probably know what your girlfriend would think about it.
try to do it in a clever way if you do. on that scott baio show he proposed using a magician that he pretended he didnt even want at the table.

lots of restaurants will help you with the plan. i also read a valentines story about Prego in LA:

so be creative, and make sure you think it's something your girlfriend (hopefully fiance soon!) will like

Best Italian Everything In LA?
My favorite Italian restaurant is Angelini Ostreria on Beverly. I could never afford more than one or two courses but I'm pretty sure they have 5. Check it out.
