Chicken as a Pizza Topping

I work at a pizza place and we make a pretty popular chicken pizza. Never have had a problem with overcooking. We grill chicken breasts and slice them thin. The sauce is a white sauce, but I prefer pesto. I havent ever tried it at home. Our pizzas only take five minutes. We have a big brick oven. Might overcook if you need to cook the pizza a lot longer then that. But if you can get your oven really nice and hot it should work great.

Tasting Vegas for our Honeymoon

I was planning on Bouchon for breakfast one morning. I was also considering the Buffet at Paris but thought it wasnt really special enough. I think I've settled on Verandah and Mon Ami Gabi for the other two breakfasts.
The L'Unique menu at L'Atelier looks like just what we were looking for.
We are planning on having one splurge meal. I would like it to be Italian. We went to B&B last time. This time we were thinking Sinatra at Encore. Seems to get good reviews and the food looks very good. Also considering Fleur de Lys. Not Italian but the menu sounds mouthwatering.

Tasting Vegas for our Honeymoon

Hi all.
My FH and I are going to be in Vegas for four days and three nights in October for our honeymoon. We arent interested in gambling, might go to a few shows, mostly we're there to wander around and eat at as many great restaurants as we can.
So I was hoping that you all might be able to help me out by suggesting great restaurants that have small tasting menus or good happy hour food specials. I've been reading reviews and menus, but I hope my fellow chowhounds can give me some great suggestions. We will be going up to the freemont st area one afternoon but other then that we are carless on the strip. We're staying at Mandalay Bay. Thanks in advance for all the help.

hawaii honeymoon help

Thanks for all the info! Airfare is actually not an issue. My fiances mom is giving us a bunch of miles she got from buisness trips. Which is why we settled on Hawaii. Before we were planing on staying in California, but with the free airfare.... why not explore farther.
Sounds like Oahu is a great bet. Any suggestions for really good sushi. Its his favorite so I think we'd have to have it one night.
Thanks again for all the suggestions.

hawaii honeymoon help

Hi there. My fiance and I are trying to come up with a great two or three day mini honeymoon. I have never been to any of the islands, so I dont know which one to choose. I am a cook and I am most excited about exploring the food. So my question is this- which island should we choose for the best food experience. Any suggestions for hotels/B&B's are welcome as well. We cant afford fine dining (maybe one meal) so I'm looking more for quality cheap eats. Thanks for any help.

New Ideas for Sweet Potatoes

My fiance is on a sweet potato kick right now. He wants them every day with dinner. I have been searching the web trying to find some new preparations but most of what i find are sweet potato casseroles with marshmallows and tons of sugar. Those are great for thanksgiving, but for a weeknight meal, not so much. Does anyone have any good go to recipes for roasted or glazed sweet potatoes? any ideas would be appreciated.

First trip to Vegas

I think we'll be staying someplace on the strip, probably the palms since the show we're going to is there. as far as $ per person, I think no more then $10 to $15. But if we find someplace really special for more, we'd go for it. Sorry for being so vague. As far as preferences, we're open to almost anything as long as its good. Specifically though, maybe breakfast and lunch spots. something fun and unique. I hope that helps

First trip to Vegas

hey there. I'm going to vegas with my fiance next month. Neither of us have ever been so we have no idea where to go for good cheap food. We plan to have one big splurge meal, and those seem easy to find. But any help with more budget oriented restaurants would be a great help. Thanks.
