Denver - Cherry Creek North - patio dining for lunch at this time of year??

Hi all!! :c)

Wondering if someone can help me with this. A friend and I are going shopping in Cherry Creek North tomorrow and, because the weather is going to be SO nice here tomorrow, we'd like to lunch outside. Does anyone have a suggestion?

Thanks so much!

Late dinner/appetizers near JW Marriott??

Anyone else have ideas?
Thanks again :c)

Late dinner/appetizers near JW Marriott??

Hi everyone!

I'm flying in for a long weekend on Thursday evening, and am looking for suggestions on where I might get a bite to eat when I arrive. The flight doesn't get in until around 7:45, so by the time I get to the hotel, which is on Post off of Mason, it'll probably be around 8:45. Does anyone have suggestions on a place nearby that might have a great dinner or appetizers that can be had that late?

Thanks so much for any advice!

Colorado Springs: restaurant recommendation for child's birthday dinner?

Hi everyone!

We're going to be in the Springs for a hockey game on Saturday, which also happens to be my five-year-old son's birthday. I'm looking for a restaurant where we can go for an early dinner to celebrate. I'm not looking for a Chucky Cheese?ITZ-type atmosphere, but just somewhere that has a great kids menu, noisy, maybe where they'll sing him Happy Birthday.

Thanks so much for any advise!!!!

Ottawa: Dinner suggestions over Canada Day weekend?

Hi!

We are taking our first trip to Ottawa and will be there over the Canada Day weekend. I'm looking for dinner restaurant recommendations - one for with kids and one without kids. We will be at the Minto Suites, so within walking distance of the Byward Market area.

For the "date night" restaurant, we're not necessarily looking for white-tablecloth fancy, maybe somewhere with great food and a cool atmosphere, or somewhere that is quintessentially Ottawa and shouldn't be missed.

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks!

Nawlins Jazz Restaurant in Oakville?

Hi everyone!
I'm considering planning a group event at Nawlins in Oakville, but have never been there, so I'm wondering if anyone has feedback on the food specifically or the overall experience in general. Any advice is greatly appreciated.
Thanks!!

Where to have a "Cinco de Mayo" group dinner in/near Oakville?

Hi all!

I'm part of a group that wants to have a Cinco de Mayo dinner/party this year (May 5th), and we're trying to figure out what our options are. Last year, we had a progressive dinner, where we did a different course at four different houses. That proved to be quite a bit of hassle, so this year we are looking for one venue, preferrably near Oakville somewhere.

Does anyone have any ideas on a great place to have it, or what would be the best way to approach this? I already realize that good Mexican cuisine is difficult to find, so at this point I'm just looking for "good enough," I'm relatively new to this area so I'm not certain what options are available. We would be a group of anywhere between 30 and 50 people.

Any advice is greatly appreciated!!!

Thanks!

Great "business dinner" spot near Four Seasons?

Thank you all so much for your suggestions -
on the advice of a friend, he tried Barberian's lastnight. He'd never been there, but it came highly recommended and rated. Said the steak was great, surroundings not so much...I thought it sounded like a really interesting place!

Great "business dinner" spot near Four Seasons?

Hi all!

Any suggestions for my husband? His boss is flying in from Denver tonight (Sunday), and staying at the Four Seasons. We are pretty unfamiliar with that area and he's trying to find an appropriate place to take him for dinner. He's looking for a restaurant with great food, preferrably steak, not necessarily top-dollar - although he doesn't want to take him to Swiss Chalet either, if you know what I mean!

Any advice is greatly appreciated.

Thanks! Suzette

Cozy spot for drinks near Oakville?

Hi all!

Wondering if anyone knows of a romantic spot for drinks somewhere near Oakville. Looking for a bar with low lighting, candles, secluded seating areas. We'd kind of like to venture outside of Oakville, however, so anywhere within a reasonable driving distance (Mississauga, Burlington, etc.)

Thanks so much!!

Kensington market - is Sunday a good day?

Planning on being in the city on Sunday morning and would love to take my first trip to Kensington market, but is it open then? Thank you very much!

Good Mexican Food in Toronto?

Not to chime in on a purely negative note, but I have to say that Mexicali Rosa's in Oakville is, without a doubt, the WORST "mexican food" I've ever had the misfortune to eat. If you're looking for mexican food, stay away from there. I grew up in Central California, where the hispanic population is like 70% and the mexican food is out of this world. Since I moved here in January, I've been surprised and saddened that there's such an apparent lack of this cuisine in the GTA.I'm so glad this board exists, though, and hope to try some of the places that have been recommended here.

Dinner before Blue Man Group?

Hi all!

Any suggestions for a great dinner somewhere downtown in the general area around either Suites at One King West or the Panasonic? We haven't spent much time downtown and aren't really familiar with the area. Probably will be looking for a good steak or seafood or italian at a reasonable price point (nothing too extravagant).

Thanks so much for any advice!

Corn tortillas in western part of GTA???

Hi all!

We just moved here a few months ago, and I've been unsuccessful in a search for corn tortillas. I need to make enchiladas!! Has anyone spotted a grocery chain or small independent grocer who carries corn tortillas anywhere near Oakville?

Thank you so much for any info :c)
