Best meal I ever ate:

Fried Chicken, cole slaw, and potato salad after whitewater rafting the Nantahala River. It probably wasn't exceptional, but after almost drowning, it was like heaven.

My current drink of choice:

Brugal Anejo (super-tasty dominican rum), dirty martini with a blue cheese stuffed olive

I really wish I could:

Run a restaurant, move to latin america, and/or demolish 720 North Main, Hutchinson, Kansas

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:

Whole chicken, lemon and thyme stuffed under the skin, rubbed down with olive oil, salt and pepper, baked with a nice crispy skin.

My favorite comfort food:

Mexican (gorditas from Los Parados) Brazilian Pao de Queijo, Mom's Chicken cassarole, Latte from Modica

My top 5 favorite restaurants:

Good Housekeeping's basic cookbook...that's really the only one I use
