Best meal I ever ate:
Fried Chicken, cole slaw, and potato salad after whitewater rafting the Nantahala River. It probably wasn't exceptional, but after almost drowning, it was like heaven.

Brugal Anejo (super-tasty dominican rum), dirty martini with a blue cheese stuffed olive

My "Go-to" dinner party dish:
Whole chicken, lemon and thyme stuffed under the skin, rubbed down with olive oil, salt and pepper, baked with a nice crispy skin.
