Slingers? [St. Louis]
Over easy. I fall pretty solidly into the Scrambled = Not a Slinger camp.
Farm Fresh Eggs in STL/Clayton
You can also get the Prairie Grass eggs (quite delicious!) from Local Harvest Grocery on Morgan Ford. They're usually not more than three or four days old when I get them.
Fine Cheeses and Charcuterie in St. Louis
I get guanciale regularly from the Salume Beddu folks, and I find it quite delicious. Of course, I've never had another version so I don't have much to compare it to.
Bar Serving Sazeracs in STL
The Royale, on Kingshighway just south of Arsenal, serves one though it has a wacky moniker. All the cocktails are named after the city wards, and I forget exactly which ward gets to claim the Sazerac. (Carondelet maybe?)
STL - moving to St. Louis Hills- restaurants?
The Ethiopian place is Meskerem. The kebab place (that also serves delicious entrees) is Cafe Natasha. And the diner on Hampton is Courtesy. City Diner is on SoGrand, and is rather hit or miss. Everything else is delicious, though I prefer Four Seasons to Pho Grand (but Bahn Mi So is even better if you head a bit further south).
(I may spend a bit too much time on SoGrand than is good for me.)
STL: Beer *and* WiFi?
There are a number of places in South City with beers and internets. Three Monkeys and the Tin Can on Morgan Ford, as well as the Jade Room/Mekong on South Ground (the name changes depending on how far back you are in the restaurant).
