It's too hard to answer this question because they are too many great different kinds of food out there. But if pressed, maybe the wild boar in a chocolate and vinegar sauce in Florence, steak tartare in St Remy, or a great meal in Chinatown in NYC..the list goes on and on
My current drink of choice:
Brunello, Malbecs and Pinot Noir. A good winter lager or doppelbock.
