Bubbe's Luchen Kugel

aklein - There are many variations of luchen kugel and everyone is good. However if you are watching cholesterol and calories mine is a more healthier version. Without the sour cream and depending on how many eggs you use, etc. your version may be very healthy too.

Nice hearing from you,

My Bubbe, Your Bubbe

The answer for that is because there is a remake of the website taking place and there just has not been time between getting sick and a new show of bigshotlive.com in development, but do not worry there will be more taking place, there is more to making an episode then most would ever know about. Just sign up for the newsletter and we will let you know when the next one is ready! :D

Gila,

If you look around you will see that it is just one of those words that can be spelled in many different ways using the English language however the pronunciation is the same.

My Bubbe, Your Bubbe

Dear Diana,

I appreciate your concern which is very important to all of us. However if you have checked the various margarines lately you will find that many brands have zero trans fat and zero cholesterol.

This also goes for the vegetable oils.

I basically use light olive oil in much of my baking and canola oil as well however, some recipes will not come out right unless a solid margarine is used which would be Parave instead of butter which is dairy.

Parave is a neutral which can be eaten with meat or dairy. However dairy and meat are never mixed.
