Need Cheap Chinese Catering in Alhambra

Oh Ok Thanks. Wasnt sure if Ipse meant a different restaurant. I was just there last week. The lady that helped me just chucked my food into the styrofoam boxes with such disdain that I didnt feel like going back anytime soon. I havent had a problem with them before. But alas, no time to be picky at this point.

Need Cheap Chinese Catering in Alhambra

Looking to get Fried Rice and Some Chow Mein to serve 20-30 people. Also finger food type items but has to be Chinese and has to be somewhat good and CHEAP. Egg rolls, Fried Shrimp or Chicken would be good. Another thing, it has to be in close proximity to the Sam Woo on Valley in Alhambra. I am picking up a whole suckling pig at 9:00 AM so food would have to be ready at that time as well. I was thinking the Yum Cha Cafe and getting a bunch of dim sum but I still need veggies and the Rice/Noodles. Asked Sam Woo about ordering their Fried Rice, 25 bucks for a small tray for Rice with Peas and Carrots seemed a bit much. I need it by this Saturday Sept 4.

Lunch Near Alhambra

Looking for lunch recommendations very near Alhambra, no more than a few minutes drive from Downtown Alhambra. I’m basically looking for places (not on Main St) where I can dine alone without looking lonesome or get food to go. Any sort of ethnic cuisine is fine and preferably under10 dollars. Something with parking would be great too. I need the close proximity because I am very pregnant and could go into labor at any time so I want to make sure I can get home quick! I’ve gone through a lot of the Alhambra threads and have some found some places that I have yet to try that look promising but I would love more suggestions.

Thanks!

Donut (yawn!) question.

I’ll have to second the Donut Man. Tried it for the first time and I must say its pretty darn good. For 2 people, we got 2 strawberry, an apple and a cream cheese filled donuts and a chocolate dipped tigertail which I think made it a little too sweet. I’ll need to peruse through the rest of their tasty looking selection. It’s a tad difficult to maneuver out of the line once you’ve ordered and paid and it’s not just because I’m 8 months pregnant. As a consolation there are free buckets for the taking. It quite the drive for us but when we’re in the area, we’ll definitely stop here.

Anniversary Dinner in Pasadena

My husband and I go to Ruth’s Chris for special occasions. I always have him call the restaurant to confirm our reservations, but mostly to ensure that we get a booth and a free dessert!

Good Pizza in Alhambra Area?

Went to Bollini's for the first time on Sat with the hubby for lunch, a little pricey. We decided to eat there, 2 small pizzas, 2 sodas and 2 slices to go, almost 40 bucks with tax and tip.
