Ess-A-Bagel...the winner

Have you tried Murray's on Sixth? I find them less sugary than Ess-a-Bagel.

Good bread - where can I buy it?

Breadline is the closest to decent I've had in the area. Firehook is passable. Panera and Au Bon Pain are awful -- don't do that to yourself. If you ever find yourself in the Baltimore area, try Bonaparte in Fells Point or Savage. Their miche is delicious.

2006 Bordeaux for aging?

I got married this year, and I would like to buy my husband a bottle of 2006 French Bordeaux to crack open for our tenth anniversary. I'm just starting to learn about wine (I was inspired by Mondovino), and so I was hoping for some advice on what is likely to age well.

103rd and Broadway?

Does anyone have any recommendations for anything near 103rd and Broadway? I'll be staying there for a few days later this month, and I'm not familar with the area at all. I'd especially love to hear about good breakfast or coffee. Many thanks!

Looking for a Wedding Caterer who specializes in Mediterranean.

Another option might be Lebanese Taverna. I found that they were a bit less expensive than Dionysus, and the food was definitely a cut above the usual wedding food. They are based in Arlington, but I believe that they are opening a place in Baltimore soon.

lunch in Mt. Airy?

Does anyone know of any tasty lunch spots in Mt. Airy? All suggestions would be welcome -- I have a friend who is new to the area.

Orange Blossom Water

In keeping with the rosewater theme, I like to add a few drops to some pistachio paste. Just toss the pistachios in a food processor with some walnut or olive oil and pulverize. Then use the mixture to stuff some dates. Mmm.
