New to Kansas City

Welcome and I second all of the recommendations from dtma. The Roasterie is my favorite coffee shop, best coffee in town. Check out their clover it makes the best cup in town You should also check out boozefish wine bar. Its kind of a hole in the wall but its real laid back and fun.

Best cup of coffee in Kansas City

What is the best coffeehouse in Kansas City? I am looking for a cafe that serves some great coffee preferably on a clover. Also some good lattes or espresso with good baristas who do latte art.

You Can't Afford This Coffee Maker

The coffee shop in KC that i visit the most has one. The Roasterie charges anywhere from $2.225-5.00. i get my coffee from the clover everyday and it is so much better than any drip coffee.

Kansas City - What should a Foodie not miss in 2008?

I know that The Roasterie does their tours on Saturdays at 11 because I have done one and it is a lot of fun. They are working on a new retail space inside the factory that will be opening soon. Boulevard does a good tour as well. If your looking for Elbows chocolates make sure and try his new coffee during your tour at the Roasterie.

Finally, Soda That's Not Too Sweet

Wonderful selection at least on paper. I haven't tried it yet but will grab some over the weekend. $2-3 a bottle is not bad if it's really good. The soda we grew up drinking is horrible and we pay $1 for that now. Anyway, so many alternatives coming out and excited to give this one a try.

Kansas City Espresso recommendations?

I live a minute away from The Roasterie in Brookside and find their Super Tuscan Espresso the best in KC. I also tried their organic espresso and it also was very smooth, very good.

Also whenever I get an espresso based drink at The Café I get a rosetta or some sort of latte art in my drink. I am definitely confident in their baristas.

Christopher Elbow chocolates in Kansas City

Christopher Elbow has a coffee that I tried and liked a lot. It's with The Roasterie and is called Christopher Elbow Coffee Blend. I saw it at The Cafe in the Brookside area. I can't remember how much much it was.
