Calphalon Anodized coating wearing off -- exchange?

I read with interest a thread from 2008 regarding this topic, but I'm starting a new thread in the hopes that someone has more recent experience with this issue.

I have a set of the Calphalon anodized cookware purchased in 2001, and the anodized aluminum coating has worn off -- the insides are now silver, which means that over time, this aluminum coating has made it's way from the pots to... our stomachs? According to the previous thread, several Chowhounds with the same problem had luck contacting Calphalon and exchanging their cookware for Calphalon's triple-ply stainless line.

I have tried this to no avail. They have offered to replace them with the same product (anodized), but I am not comfortable with the idea of my family injesting the insides of my pots. They have reassured me that it does not pose a health-hazard, but I am sticking to my guns. I do not want the same product. We have gone back and forth with a series of e-mails, but I'm not sure how to proceed.

Has anyone had recent success with this? Any advice?

Roscon de Reyes

Does anyone have a recommendation for a bakery that makes a good roscon de reyes? Roscon de reyes is a bread-like cake that is served in Spain and Latin American countries on January 6th. I have been buying it for years at La Victoria Mexican Bakery on 24th St in SF, but I find it to be pretty dry. Any ideas? Thanks!

Grass fed beef -- large order

Hello -- I am considering ordering a quarter or a split quarter of beef from a local farm. Any recommendations? I'm considering the following farms:

* Morris Grassfed Beef -- T.O. Cattle Company (San Juan Batista)
* Chileno Beef (Petaluma)
* Clark Summit Farm (Tomales)
* Holding Ranch (Lafayette)
* Marin Sun Farms (Point Reyes)
* Drake's Bay Family Farm -- Lunny Ranch (Inverness)
* Napa Free Range Beef (Napa)

I'm looking for good flavor, decent cost. Most important is that it be locally produced and grass fed (all of the above are, I believe...)

Fish tacos in SF

Where can I get great fish tacos in or near SF? I know it's more of a Southern California thing, but it would be nice to be able to have them here once in a while.
