Moving to Glendale, AZ What's to eat?
Al Forno.....It's located on Glendale ave, in the down town area. Right across the street from the park. The BEST pizza this side of Bianco's. Try the Italian Stallion, it's loaded with cured meats and perfectly cooked in the wood burning oven. It's not mexican or Thai, but it is the best thing in Glendale by far.
San Antonio's Best
Has anyone tried Le Reve, I've read alot of good reviews, and the chef seems extreamly talented? Ritas Fiesta Tacos was the one I was looking for. I seen the place on the travel channel a few weeks ago, but could not remember the name. Thanks,

Looking for best Places to eat in San Antonio and surrounding areas (Fredricksburg). Will be there for 6 weeks, so I have pleanty of time to try different things. What are some recommendations that are not chain places? Looking for fine dinning to taco stands. Thanks,
Modus - San Diego
To compare anything Thomas Keller does to Modus is a disservice to Thomas Keller. Your talking about the greatest American Chefs (I have eaten at Buchon in Vegas and it was unreal) ever. Modus is a neighborhood supper club. I did eat at Modus with the original chef and his pomme frites were comparable to Buchon, but still not on the same level. Modus is not pretending to be on Buchons level, and it's unfail to compare it to that. If I'm not mistaken, I believe they are on there third chef at this point.
Digestif, Scottsdale
Has anyone tried Digestif in Scottsdale yet.
It's supposed to be a rustic Italian place, and I'm curious to know how the food is.
San Diego restaurants are bad
Addison, at the Grand Del Mar. I've cooked in New York, and San Fran. Addison is as good as any 1 Star Michelin restuarant.
Laveen/Litchfield Recommendations
There is a pretty good pizza place in downtown Glendale. It is on the south side of glendale ave. They have a wood burning oven and a great selection of authentic pies. I believe it is call pizzaria fiorno. Definatly a place worth trying. Unfortunatly in Litchfield options are limited at this time.
