Authentic Dinner for Group

Thank you for the thoughts...I had a feeling it may be difficult to plan a large group thing so close to MG. I will call around and maybe I will limit it to a smaller group of say 10-12 people. Counting down... :D

Authentic Dinner for Group

Hi there! I will be visiting New Orleans in February and was hoping to get suggestions on restaurants that could accommodate a group of up to 25 people. This would be just prior to Mardi Gras, so I am sure most places will be very crowded. Hmmm...do restaurants even accept reservations Mardi Gras week?

We'd like someplace casual but that serves wonderful local dishes to really give us a taste of New Orleans.

I will be staying just west of Canal Street (Camp Street), so it seems like anything in the French Quarter, Warehouse District or Business District would be an easy walk?

Progressive Dinner in North End

Hi! I am planning a progressive dinner in the North End, and again find myself overwhelmed by all of the choices. I thought I would call on the hounds to help me firm up the plan. :)

There will be 10-15 of us, so the size of the space will be a major consideration. And since there will be multiple stops, I would like to focus on some of the more affordable options.

We are going to do 4 stops:
1. Appetizer / Apéritif (would like a place with a variety of apps and good portions for sharing)
2. Dinner (Looking for character, good variety, reasonable prices)
3. Dessert (I am thinking Modern!)
4. Coffee / After dinner drink (Cafe Vittoria?)

Memorable dinner for 8 in Sonoma

Hi! We are 8 girlfriends traveling to Sonoma later this month. We rented a fully stocked villa in Glen Ellen and will be cooking most meals there...but we wanted to plan one great meal out. We are open to all kinds of cuisine but something that incorporates the flavors and character of the region would be nice. Ideally we'd keep it within short driving distance from Glen Ellen. I have found a lot of lists displaying top restaurants, but I wanted to call on the assistance of the hounds. :) Thanks in advance!
