The best non stick frying pan, used at level 7 or 8 of 10 is the frying pans from Korea with a marble like coating. NO telfon.
vailible at T&T of all places. Goes on sale for $15 to $25 ish.
Try this with ANY other pan: Raw egg cracked in cold pan WITHOUT any oil or butter, turn heat to med or a bit higher, let seat till almost cooked or fully cooked. Maybe lift edges a bit and see if it comes of the pan WITHOUT any residues in the pan.
These Korea pans are amazing.
I have the wok type with a lid from something else, and that is almost the only "pan" I used in the kitchen.
I am on my second one, after about 3 years, because the last one was used on a gas stove and used too high of a temperature. It got warped too much to my liking and T & T had it on sale a few weeks ago.
Awesome Non Toxic (Ceramic) Fry Pans !
They usually have them. You can't miss them, only pans that look like black marble or granite.
Awesome Non Toxic (Ceramic) Fry Pans !
After you washed you Wok, give it the cold pan, fry egg test; hope you will be amazed.

Best All You Can Eat Japanese in Toronto GTA
I wrote this on Mar 21st, 2010.
Just had a great time at ten-ichi, a party of 15.
To enjoy this place, make reservations, either for 2 or more, its almost a must.
OK, the food, done well and served in a timely manner. Very professional servers, Jessica was our main server. Instead of trying to order a piece of that and a piece of that. We asked for a few sashimi platters for a first order. She did an excellent job on it.
Sashimi is fresh, knife work is a bit off, different thickness. Most ppl liked the weekend special of the sweetened raw shrimp; I didn't think it was that great.
Had a lot of spicy salmon, something with fish eggs on top, salmon roses and house rolls, are are great.
We had a lot of salmon and white tuna, delicious. The cooked beef and onions are cooked perfectly with no tendons or chewy parts in it. The grilled mushrooms are huge and are eaten quite quickly.
2 types of cooked whole fish were ordered, didn't like it, not due to taste, but the amount per order( 1 fish of about 9" per order).
The high light for me were the hot milk and ginger, yogurt topped with mango, and the mousses.
It was so good, that when my Sister comes to visit, I am taken her there!
Oh, here are the menus:

ISO downtown dim sum
For Dim Sum, its about the food and the atomsphere to me. Dim Sum is has always been noisy, people reading newspaper leisurely, and lots of patrons pointing at the food from carts, people shaking their heads, and people smiling and accepting forced upon them Dim Sum.
A lot of places have been converted/ing to menu driven, which makes me feel like its a take out place but decide to eat in. The non menu places' waiters will accept your orders and bring it to your table.
IMHO Forrestview fits my desc. and its cheap to boot.

forestview chinese restaurant - new dim sum find
I too have been to quite a few dim sum places. Rol San was AMAZING, for about a year or so, then it became inconsistent when i did go. I have been going back to Forestview for about 2 years now. Its not great but better than most, and it reminds me what dim sum is supposed to be. A gathering place to enjoy food and ppl watching. When I get older, then I will be reading the paper like ppl do at dim sum places, lol.
They recently had a dimpling, pork, shrimp, and some green veg wrapped in a clear dough, that I liked very much.
Did have a bad experience once, when the "churn fun" served had very thin or watery mixed bough, and was sticky and broke for everyone that tried to pick up any of it.
But that was it in many years.
Dim sum with carts
From what you stated, you should be going to Forestview Chinese Restaurant Ltd 466-468 Dundas Street West Toronto, its better than most. I am SURPRISED no one has mentioned it or recommended it yet.
Best bang for your buck? Downtown TO
Totally agree. The quarter chicken and the fries with gravy always calms any stomach growlings I've had.
I am so glad they are still around.
